OS: Happy Diwali!

_______________________________

Khushi was 7 month pregnant. The whole Raizada family was happy as they eagerly waiting for the baby. Khushi and Arnav was happy as it would be the third child in their family after Addy and Gavy( Payal's and Akaash's twin sons).
Arnav was making sure he could keep Khushi happy as much as possible.
He always made sure she gets whatever and whenever she needed anything before she even asked.
He was always there with her, at any time of the day, doesn't matter if he had to get up in the middle of the night or had to stay all up night.
Like at 3:00AM she would crave for ice-cream, he always use to make sure there is every flavour sitting in the freezer. But sometimes those ice creams were of no use when she needed to go out and have chocolates, and her favourite fresh, hot jalebes, and for that he had newly appointed special chef from five star hotel, working 24 hours. And sometimes that chef was of no use too as predicted of Khushi's mood swings as he himself has to be a chef because his little lady wanted jalebes, cooked by her husband hands. And yes, living with a pregnant wife wasn't easy but it never ever bothered Arnav because for her he could do anything, if he had given his heart for her, these little things were nothing.
Tomorrow is Diwali. He had decided what he would be giving the family, but for Khushi he wanted it to be something unique beside clothes, jewellery, sweets. And after thinking for hours he realized that he had forgotten one thing to do and that could be the perfect gift for Khushi.
He quickly picked up his phone in excitement and texted Akaash.
"Akaash today we are going for a babes shopping! You are quite experienced so could you please help me today?"
Akaash's phone vibrated as he got Arnav's message.
His eyes widened in shock as he read his brothers text. "What babes?"
He didn't wait to answer and immediately went to Arnav's cabin.
"Hey Akaash so are you coming with me?"
"Bhai don't you think Khushi will not at all like the fact?"
"What? You really think so?" Arnav asked. "Why would she not like it? I know, she will infact love it! Tomorrow, is Diwali and I guess it would be the best gift for her!"
Akaash was so utterly confused that how come his own brother could even think of such things when he had such a lovely wife and seriously felt bad for Khushi. But not for a mere second he paid attention or have it a thought that Arnav could have meant something else. He sadly sat on the chair and muttered as someone would hear him. "Bhai, Khushi is pregnant and if she will get to know this we had gone for a babes shopping she will kill us both!"
"What's even wrong with you?" he growled.
Akaash maintained his posture.
"Bhai nothing is wrong with me, I know Khushi has gained some weight but she is still beautiful. And how could you even think that I am experienced in shopping for a babes."
Arnav quickly picked his phone from the table and read the message that he had sent few minutes ago to him.
He closed his eyes in anger and at the thought that how could even his brothers act as one of the melodrama queens.
"I meant shopping for a baby, this stupid autocorrect," Arnav muttered under his breath. "I was talking about toys and the babies pictures to get for the new born room decoration," Arnav then muttered in embarrassment.
"Oh sorry bhai. I thought you are after some babes or something!"
Akaash said and couldn't help and laughed. "Bhai but believe me I knew you couldn't even think of anything such!"

"Oh yeah?" Arnav asked as he nodded in disbelief.
"Just delete that text message if by mistake Khushi read it, she would definitely kill me," Arnav said.
"Bhai we will call Payal, NK and Dhruv too!"
"It's a good idea, but Khushi will doubt that!"
"Okay then we will call Payal alone. Dhruv and NK could help us in the decorations then!"
"Okay, makes sense. Call Payal and tell her just to make an excuse."
***
After spending complete eight hours in the shop for baby, Arnav, Payal and Akaash had finally managed to buy toys, and the other important things that were needed.
***
When they reached RM, NK and Dhruv kept Khushi in the backyard so that she couldn't see all the gifts and the toys.
***
"Dhruv I just heard arnav ji's voice, is he home?"
"Arnav bhai's voice? No, NK did you hear anything?"
"No, I didn't. Oh, bhabi you are not listening us, but thinking about bhai? Right?"
"No, NK it's nothing like that. I thought I heard his voice, Payal bhabi's too and Akaash bhaiya's."
"Oh common bhabi! I am sure your ears are ringing! Payal bhabi has gone to the boutique to get her lehnga and Akaash bhai and Arnav bhai are just finishing up all the work that needed to be finished because of the Diwali there is a holiday at AR!" Dhruv made an excuse.
"Dhruv bhai just go and see if they have come!" NK said.
"Yeah, I go and see, you take care of her!"
"Yes, yes!" NK assured.
Dhruv immediately went in the house.

"Bhai!" Dhruv called Arnav.

"Speak slowly bhabi has gotten to know that you are home!"

"Oh, I am sorry. I was just calling Akaash and Payal!"
"Okay, keep it low! Then don't blame us that we ruined everything," he said and went again to the backyard.
"No, bhabi I have seen and they aren't back yet!"
"Oh, okay! I think we should go inside it's getting quite dark outside!" Khushi said.
"No, bhabi see gavy and addy are enjoying here. Since, Payal bhabi is not here they might miss her so they better play here!" NK said.
"Yeah! Okay, I could stay here!"
"Bhabi if you are tired we could go inside!" NK said as he made sure if she really wants to go in.
"No, I am actually feeling really good here, sitting on the grass feels nice!"
"That's great! Please bhabi tell us if you want to go!" Dhruv spoke up. As he too felt bad for making her wait outside.
"Dhruv you wait here I get shawl for bhabi!"
"Okay!"
***
NK grabbed the shawl from Khushi's cupboard and went to baby's room that was now being decorated.
"Hey, bhai wow it's beautiful!" NK said as he looked around. "I am sure bhabi would love it!"
"We hope so!" Arnav said.
"Bhai how long would it take? It's getting quite cold outside. And the smoke of the crackers could make her sick."

"Oh shit...I totally forgot about that. Okay guys we could put all these postures later let them in the bag," Arnav immediately said.

"Oh yeah how could be so careless?" Payal said as she she mentally slapped herself.
"Yeah, by the way most of the work is done it's just that these postures are left. We could do it later!"

Akaash assured.
And they immediately left the room. NK was going to switch off the lights of the room when Arnav stopped him. "NK leave the lights on. I want my baby's room to always filled with light!" he said.
"Yes, sure bhai!" NK said and locked the door.
As all four of them came downstairs and all of them went to Khushi.
Khushi was sitting with her back towards Arnav.
Dhruv was going to call him when Arnav put his finger on his lips to forbid from saying anything. As he himself went towards her sat behind her.
"Arnav ji!" she immediately said as she looked at her back and saw Arnav right behind her.
"How do you know I was here?"
"I could feel your presence even if you don't say anything!"
Arnav's eyes moistened. He wrapped the shawl around her and hugged her. "I am sorry!"
"Sorry for what?" she asked confused.
He shook his head to imply nothing and he himself got up and picked her up in his arms.
"Okay, kids let's go inside!" Payal and Akaash said as they took kids inside the house too.
***In the Morning***
"Good Morning, Khushi!" Arnav said as he kissed her forehead and her tummy. "Good Morning baby!"
"Good Morning, Arnav ji!"
"Happy Diwali!" they both said in unison.
"Is our baby ready to celebrate his very first Diwali?"

"All set and ready to celebrate!" Khushi replied.
"Okay, get up! I have something for you!"

"For me?"
"Yes, actually pretty much for our baby!"
"Really? He or she is excited to know what their dad has for them for their Diwali!"

"I hope they like it!"
"They will love it!" Khushi assured.
"Okay then!" Arnav said and he took her to their baby's room.
"Arnav ji, where are you taking me?" Khushi asked as she was getting restless to know.
"Have patience, sweetheart!"
"Okay!"
"Here you go!" Arnav said and gave her the key to the room and asked her to unlock the door.
Khushi was too excited to know what could be in the room. And Arnav was equally nervous to know how would she like the room?
When she had finally unlocked the door, she looked at Arnav and they smiled at each other.
Then she finally opened the door.
"You like it?"

Arnav asked as they both stood in one of the beautiful world that both have dreamed together for their beautiful unborn.
Khushi didn't say anything. She just covered her mouth in surprise. Like? It was an understatement. It was in fact even more beautiful then she had thought, that she would decorate the room for their baby.
A room with a beautiful welcoming light blue colour with a minimum toys. The reason she knew as they both wanted their kid to grow up with their love, not with toys.
"Khushi since we want to keep the gender of our child a surprise, so I just this colour scheme. I think it fits either for a girl or a boy..."
"Perfectly Arnavji!" she said as she continued to admire the beauty of the room that reflected Arnav's pure love for her. Tears had formed in her eyes at the fact that how many ways he could show how much he loves her and his unborn baby. She turned around and hugged him.

"I love it, Arnav Ji!"
"And the baby?" Arnav has just asked when Khushi's tummy felt a kick and she felt winced in pain.
"Khushi, what happen?" Arnav said as panic grew, shooking his every nerve.
"Arnav ji, our baby first time kicked me!" Khushi answered with overwhelming joy twinkling in her eyes.
"Really?" Arnav he asked and immediately knelt down and touched her tummy. And the baby again kicked. "He again kicked!" Arnav said with a total surprise in his voice. Khushi couldn't say anything but nod.
"It means he or she loved it!"
"I am 100% sure!" Khushi answered.
"This is the best Diwali gift for me Arnavji! But I have no..."
Arnav knew what she was going to say. So he immediately spoke up "And you and our baby is the best gift that you have given to me Khushi!" Arnav said and got up ok his feet and hugged her.
"Thank you making my life worth living Khushi!"
"Thank you too for giving me the happiness of becoming a mother."

"A very happy Diwali!" they again wished each other!!!

Hope you guys liked it!!
