Cursed love Part 10

Chapter 10
@ Raizada Mansion.

Arnav paced back and forth in the room. He was calm. Completely under the control of his emotions and the overwhelming powers he had had to go through on daily basis.

He was trying his level best to find a way to connect his power of protection with Khushi.

That sure involved it's risks and was against the laws of extreme powers. He had taken an oath he wouldn't give his powers to anyone, except he or she is blood related to him. Or his life partner. And in Khushi's case either option didn't imply.

Secondly, if any way he did it going against every supreme power will create havoc. And meant severe actions.

Thirdly, most importantly he will cause problem for himself that could mean his life too. Or Khushi's.

Anjali sat on the sofa. Until, now she hadn't said anything. She was referring every way though which she could help Khushi. However, end result ended up against her every solution.

"Di, she needs protection."

"But she is just a normal person, chote. We can't give her our powers."

"Di, we don't have any other way..."

"Chote, you are going to get your own life in trouble or worst her. Chote, there is only one way. You know that right..."

"What? No, I can't do that. We hardly know each other."

"Exactly, that is what I am saying, chote. If you think it is worst way you can imagine what you are thinking is even dangerous than that."

"Di, somebody is after her life. Till Nani doesn't come this is the least I can do. I will transfer few of my energies to her."

"Still you are repeating the same thing, chote. She won't be able to tolerate the pain. You even know why we are not allowed to give anyone our powers except few. It will kill the person instead of helping them. And remember last time you used on that goons. They were killed at the spot. Given that draining energies from others is just a mere power you have.

"You know that we are not even complete humans but stuck in human body. Just because of that we feel the pain. We go through what human's go through. But we can recover almost completely. However, she won't be."

"Is there any other way you can think of?" he asked.

"Yes, I know. Nani gave me the locket. Just to give it to your jiju. Since, he didn't belong to the mirare (magic) world before marriage. Now he is connected to me, he is safe. And yes, I still have that. We can give it to her. Still risk is involved. Khushi will still have to go through every possible pain."

"That you or me can relief her from."

Anjali nodded her head. "Do you have that locket with you?"

"Yes, it's in my purse. I go and get it."

Anjali went to her room and brought it to Khushi's room.
***
"Chote, you have to help me. Would you make her body calm?" Anjali said as she came back.

Arnav had no idea why he was even doing for her. Least he knew she wasn't normal human either. But she was hardly in touch or ever had experienced what they had to go through on daily basis. Her family is just like any human race. Except her.

Arnav mumbled something under his breath in a foreign language that translated to...

"We are going to do that might be against every law of thee, supreme powers. However, not in anyway it is wrong. It is our mere try to protect one innocent life. With a belief that we might be chosen by god for it and if not, we hold ourselves responsible of whatever consequences will be of our actions.

However, we are expecting, supreme powers, you are with us. We need help. Please help us and guide us so that we could reach our path easily and without a pain."

"Help!"

Arnav was anxious. Khushi was under his spell now. She laid flat on the bed. He raised her by holding her shoulders so that Anjali could make her wear the locket.

"Are you ready, chote?"

Arnav nodded.

Anjali carefully put locket in her neck. She jerked a little as her human body couldn't accept any magic that was surely not meant for her. Arnav observed the pain in his body. Initially, he did feel the pain. But it was distributed among three.

"It's all well, chote!" Anjali said and she was smiling as they were successful.

Arnav made Khushi lay back on the bed again ever so lightly.

Anjali ran her hand in Khushi's hair.
"Chote, I hope you are happy now."

Her statement was bit controversial and Arnav did get the hint behind it. "Di, it's nothing like that."

"Like that? What? I was saying. I hope you are happy that she is protected," she said and suppressed her smile.

"Now, shall we go and let her sleep? She is not under our spell anymore. Her sleep will be disturbed.

"And I am hungry, please today make something with your hands," Arnav said.

"Sure, my sweet little brother," Anjali said. Arnav gave one last look at Khushi before closing the door. He did feel relaxed seeing her protected.

***
"But, chote. Sincerely, I want to thank you. For thinking about Khushi."

"You are welcome!" he said.

"Alright, sit down, I bring something for you to eat."

"Don't forget about us," Akaash and NK came and said.

"Welcome both of you. How are sweet brothers?!" Anjali went to Akaash and NK and gave them the hugs.

"How was the Bangalore meeting?"

"It was good," she answered.

"And how is Khushi ji?" NK asked.

"She was tired after traveling so she is sleeping. You tell me how you guys were? Did you even eat properly?"

"Yes, we did. But now we are really hungry..."

"Ten minutes, I will ask for. Not more than that..."

"No, don't worry take as much as time you want," Akaash said. And later they both joined Arnav at the table.

***
Khushi sat up the bed almost immediately with a jerk.

A black image stood in front of her. She couldn't see him completely. Room was hardly illuminated except the blue smoke coming out of man in black.

She saw him digging deep into his coat pocket. A black thing it looked like but almost followed by the sheer silver metallic silver line. It was a dagger.

Khushi was on the bed almost numb. Under the spell of the man. She stood. And just stood. Man started walking towards her.

She was not feeling any fear, she didn't feel the urge to scream either. Because she couldn't.

Man in one swift motion stabbed her in her stomach. Nothing happened. Dagger just got into her skin. It was hard to see the expression of a man. But anybody would have guessed he was shocked.

He once again tried and stabbed her, nothing happened to her. He was furious. This time he tried attacking her chest. Still nothing happened to her.

His anger freed her from his spellbound. She wanted to scream. But man held her throat brutally that made her voice choked. However, he let go of her. If for one more minute he had tried to hold her, he would have burnt. But before leaving he did literally threw her back. She fell back. However, she saved herself.

But as the man disappeared. She was drain of every energy. She didn't know how nothing happened to her. And fear was equally there.

Her eyes fell on the locket that was completely different that her mother had for her.

***
"Chote, I am going to office, I had called in a meeting to prepare for the annual event of the fashion week. This time we need to do it here at our biggest hotel to accommodate ten different sponsors."

"Yes, go ahead. Let me know if you need help."

"Yes, sure. But I think I will be fine, Akaash and NK are there to help me. You can work from the home today."

"Yup, that's the plan."

"Alright, see you in few hours. Meeting is only three hours long, I will be home before dinner."

"Okay."
***
Anjali had just left home when Nani entered the house.

She felt a sudden shock just similar to when she was about to leave and Khushi had stepped in Mumbai railway station.

Arnav was going to leave too to his room when he saw Nani he stopped.

He literally rushed to her.

"Nani, you are back. What had happened to you? Why weren't you picking up the phone?"

Nani was in no state to say anything. She brought her right step into the house and she mumbled something in the same language as Arnav had previously muttered. But it was mostly in a low tone so Arnav didn't know. Nani held her hand straight up as it was a sign for Arnav to move away from her path. He did so.

Khushi had just came from the room when she saw Nani.

Nani took a little pouch from her bag when she saw Khushi.

Arnav saw her looking at Khushi. And Nani was eyeing her carefully. It wasn't a gaze that someone would give seeing a stranger in their home but as a person from the outer world.

It didn't take Nani to recognize who she was. And the other thing she saw was the locket in her neck.

"Who gave her that locket? And who made her wore it?" Nani spoke for the first time.

Arnav was sacred to answer her. "Nani, Anjali di gave it and I made her wear it."

Nani looked at him with a sudden alarm and shock.

"Come and see me in the puja room!"

Khushi gulped down the lump in her throat. And Arnav followed her.

***
"Nani, what's the matter?"

"Do you even know what's the meaning of giving that locket to her and to top everything to make it wear it yourself?"

"Nani, I know I am sorry. She is just a normal person, and we make her wore it. But, Nani, somebody was after her life."

Nani listened to him, but she wasn't at all calm as she showed herself him to be.

"Nani, even jiju was just a normal person and you made Anjali di wore it to Jiju."

Nani clenched her fist.

"No, chote!" she turned as her back was first towards him. "That locket wasn't met for just anyone but only for your jiju."

"Nani, is there any wrong with that. I can ask Khushi to remove it."

"But that in no way made you make what you did, right!"

"What do you mean, Nani?"

"Now, she is your wife, chote?"

Arnav stood perplexed, his lips that he had opened to say something remained opened in sheer shock.

"That was a sacred locket only meant to be given by a girl to her future husband or vice versa. But by making her wear you have pronounced her to be your wife and that was what Anjali bitiya had done."

"No, it can't happen."

"It already has happened, chote," she said. "It already has," she repeated.

"This locket protected your jiju. But to   Khushi, it's a call of a death."

Arnav's heart shook and his stomach did a somersault.

"Anyway, I could correct it?"

"She is your wife for forever. And now you have to protect her, chote. And you..."

She stopped. She didn't know if she should tell him. This was the innocent mistake Arnav had been doing since his three past life. But this time he had to go step ahead and accept Khushi completely his otherwise, there wasn't any way to save him and Khushi once again.

Arnav was still very shocked to hear Nani's revelation. He made Khushi his wife unintentionally. That's how the real problem started. In their past lives Arnav married Khushi, but never made her completely his. But unaware of anything such in his present lifetime, he was afraid to tell Khushi.

He felt as he had betrayed one innocent life. But in reality he had done what he had to do in the future when he knew what he was going to do. However, to save one more lifetime to end the evil and live on forever, Arnav had to accept the fact and accept Khushi.

It wasn't that easy as it sounded. Because now they stood at that end of the mountain where one step forward and back meant life and death. To the worst that was what evil was waiting for.

Khushi who had walked to the puja room and heard Nani and Arnav, stood frozen against the wall and eventually slipped down to the wall.

Arnav heard her restless breath and rushed to her.

"Khushi."

The fear on her face told him that she had heard everything.

"Khushi, I will make everything alright," he said.

Khushi looked at him. She felt as she knew Arnav from ages. And she was seeing what Nani showed it to her. This was the only way she could bring their past in front of Khushi.

Information of their past reeled in Khushi's brain in the form of pain. As the million songs are downloaded at once.

"Nani, what is happening to her?"

Nani wouldn't have said a word because she didn't hear anything. As she concentrated on Khushi and provided her the information of the past.

Khushi was breathless, but Nani couldn't have made it any painless for Khushi. Arnav held her wrists to take her pain, but he couldn't. He felt as his powers were blocked.

Tears came down Khushi's eyes as Nani kept on mumbling the words and put the information in her head.

"Nani, stop this. She will die," Arnav screamed.

Khushi was depressed of every energy in her body as her past life reeled in her mind as a movie. Every single moment of the past 52 years. But at such an intensity and speed that her skull was going to snap open it felt.

Arnav's heart was shrinking seeing Khushi's condition.

And all of sudden she stood up as she was forced by someone, and in the next moment she was in Arnav's arms. Lifeless. Her whole body was blue.

"Nani, what did you do to her?"

"Khushi, open your eyes!" he pleaded.

Arnav hadn't realized Nani herself was out of breath. "Chote, take her to your room."

"My room?"

"Yes, your room."

"But is she fine?"

"Yes, she is fine," she told him.

Arnav took a sigh of relief and immediately took Khushi to his room.

Nani finished her prayer. And later sat in her chair.

Fears were in her heart because it indeed was the matter of the life and death. She didn't want her grandson and daughter-in-law to die once again. So for that she had to prepare Khushi and explain most of the things she didn't know.

Because just like other time it was only her who was going to be harmed and if by any chance anything happened to her it would be the end of Arnav ultimately.
