Can you forgive me please?! Epilogue

EPILOGUE!

Arnav sat in the bed with his twin babies, a baby boy and a baby girl in his arms. Fascinated by the fact that these two little babies were the symbol of their love. He wondered how these little lives fit exactly in the length of his arms.

He was trembling as with his own eyes, he saw Khushi giving birth to the babies.

He was going to faint first when he saw Khushi floundering, with the amount of pain during the childbirth. He wished if any way he could able to reduce her pain was to be on her side when she was going to deliver her baby. For this he mentally prepared himself.

"Khushi, relax and push, don't stress, I am here with you!" he said to her.

Khushi was unable to focus on Arnav's words. But she never let go off his hand. Her nurse padded cold towel on her forehead.

His head spun, but he had to be her support, he reminded himself. Never he knew until now what a woman had to go through to give one child a birth.

"Khushi, look at me!" he said. As he held her arms.

"Khushi, push!" Doctor said. "You have to keep trying, Khushi. You can do it!"

Khushi finally was able to look into Arnav's eyes, "I am here, Khushi, push!" he said softly.

She tried and then she felt relief, as she could feel her baby coming out.

Arnav was smiling ear to ear. As doctors took the baby out they told it was a baby boy.

Arnav couldn't help, but kiss Khushi. He had tears of joy in his eyes.

Then she was again crying in pain. This time it wasn't a problem as she knew, what she had to do.

She closed her eyes, pictured Arnav, every beautiful moment that she had spent with him. Every dream that she and him had seen together.

She took a deep breath, clenched Arnav's hands and she pushed.

There was their second child. A baby girl, doctor said.

Arnav was once again kissing her deeply.

"Congratulations, baby!" he said.

Khushi was crying as she saw her two babies.

"Let us clean them and check if they are perfectly fine, after that they both are yours!" Doctor said smiling.

Arnav and Khushi looked at their babies, and then in each other's eyes.

"Khushi, you have been really strong!" he said. "Thank you for this bundle of joy."

"Sorry for keeping them a secret for four months!" she said, as no matter how many times she had apologized for misunderstanding him, but she couldn't just come out of the guilt. But Arnav always there to tell her it was not at all a problem.

Now they were there enjoying the little lives.

Carrying just a little borns in your hand is an art, you have to just overcome the fears of harming them.

Khushi was looking at him lovingly. She was in awe the way he was admiring them. So innocent, with a touch of a father's emotion.

He softy kissed both of their babies.

"Arun and Anaya!" he said. Khushi nodded as they had already decided the names of their babies. He placed them in the crib.

Then he walked back to Khushi. He held her hand in his and kissed it.

"Khushi, thank you for everything. Thank you for coming into my life and making it so beautiful that today I feel if it wasn't you in it, it would never have been the same."

Khushi had tears in her eyes.

"Thank you for so understanding and forgiving my every mistake!" she said.

Arnav cupped her face and placed his lips gently on hers lips. "You were allowed to make all those mistakes," he said. "They weren't mistakes that was just love for me."

He wanted to kiss her until they both were out of breath. But they had to stop, when their baby boy, started crying.

Arnav giggled and so did Khushi. "I don't think they will ever be able to enjoy our little moments," he said.
"But I would love to give you and both of them my whole time," he said.

Can you forgive me please?! Chapter 4

[MEMBERSONLY]
Arnav's question terrified her. His behaviour towards her, frightened her. And this is what she was scared of.

She slowly got up the bed to talk to him, but he only got farther away from her.

"Arnav ji, I tried my best to tell, but couldn't!" she said, but found that she was running out of the valid explanations.

First, she was blinded with the truth than she ignored the consequences of not telling about anything, post misunderstanding was cleared.

She had gone extremely wrong. To an extent where she can't even seek forgiveness, justify herself in anyway.

The thought of him getting distanced away from him, daunted her. She knew she was wrong, and she had to apologize. Doesn't matter what it takes to seek it.

She kept her hand on his shoulder to bring him out of his trance, but he absentmindedly jerked it away.

He was completely disturbed. Nothing was coming in his mind except, his wife was hiding the most important news from him.

He walked to the other side of the bed, as his soul was separated from his body and sat up on the bed.

"I am pregnant, Arnav ji...Three month pregnant!" she had told him.

It was worst; worst then knowing that she knew the truth about his innocence...

More painful...

More heart wrenching...

Was it a joke? he thought.

A big joke, played with him by his life...

Didn't he really deserve to be happy!?

Especially, to hear the most important news of his life, that he was going to be a father.

"Arnav ji..." Khushi said, but a fear had stopped her.

A fear of what would be coming up next!

Too bad!!! She wasn't ready.

"Khushi, I beg you leave me, before I do anything, say something that I deeply regret later...Please, Khushi, go..."

He literally begged her. His tone was shaky. Due to the anger and the fear. The fear of knowing, he is brutal when he is angry and the person he loved has hurt him, have taken it to the level where he would only regret his actions.

He knew how badly he was controlling himself of not saying anything that he would come out due to the furiousness, other than that nothing would be behind it. And he really wanted right now was to be alone...To calm himself down.

He didn't know after getting enough pain; the worst was waiting for him...
The only thing he never had dreamt of...

Khushi knew he won't say anything to her, but hurt himself...

Mentally!

And if she didn't leave, she would, heighten his anger even more.

Still hoping she could make him understood, she tried once again.
"Arnav ji, I won't do such mistake again!" she whimpered.

"Go!" he snarled as he immediately got up the bed. His growl was extremely animalistic, it roared in the whole mansion, in Khushi's ears and made everyone startled. But none of them decided to come in between two of them except Anjali.

"I go and see!" Anjali told everyone taking charge of the situation.

Khushi's eyes widened in fear, as she faced his angry wolf form...The trembling started in her legs...She couldn't stand raw anger in his eyes...

"I said go from here!" he repeated and gritted every word he said...Even he was trembling in enrage.

The only one thing she knew was she deserved it...But definitely not hurting him more.

It is said that "it's never to late..." But Khushi was late in every other possible way...

Khushi without her accordance left the room and Arnav shut the door at her back.

She shuddered as the door was slammed with the force. She bitterly cried.

"Khushi, what happen!?" Anjali came almost running, looking at Khushi and the closed door.

"Di, Arnav ji, is really mad at me!?" she said and hugged her. Her sobs raked her body.

"Ssh...Khushi...Please don't cry...I talk to him...He will surely understand..." Anjali hurriedly.

"He won't listen, not at the moment!" she grieved as she cut her off.

"Okay, you relax..." Anjali immediately pulled her away from the hug. And wiped her tears.

"Khushi, believe me he is just angry...I have faced his worst side...But his anger fades away as soon as it engulfs him..." Anjali said as she tried to pacify her.

Even though she was pacifying her, he herself was worried, she very well knew this was the worst side of his that she has ever seen.

He only loved two women one of course was Anjali and other one was Khushi. That Khushi failed to understand.

He had never yelled at Anjali, never. But at Khushi he did. The reason
was straight forward, he was hurt, more than anyone of them could even think of.

The way he had yelled, she hoped it wasn't a sign of something worst. And it doesn't drift them apart as they already was.

The worst part he had pull walls, shutting himself up from the world...

She was feeling that in this scenario she would be of no help to her, not until he had calmed himself down. She knew it's only Khushi herself who could handle his anger, she had to do whatever it takes to calm him.

But she herself hadn't been coping well with herself. And Arnav would definitely not listen her, not right now.

However, if the situation was uncontrolled, all had to pay for the serious consequences.

***
"Look Mrs. Jha, Mrs. Raizada has depressed a lot...She has got anemia...It's normal during pregnancy but in Mrs. Raizada case it could lead to serious problems...So, I would suggest whatever is troubling her, is sorted out as soon as possible!" Doctor had warned her.
***

"Khushi, okay just come with me, you eat something then we will talk about it!" Anjali said as she tried to divert her mind.

"But, di, Arnav ji hasn't eaten anything!"

"Khushi, he will, but it's more important for you...I know you are worried about him, but you have one more responsibility, of your baby! Now come with me and eat something!"

Khushi turned around and looked at the locked door.

"Di, can you please get food for me and Arnav ji here!?" she finally said after thinking.

"Khushi you are talking about impossible, right now!" Anjali told her flatly.

"Di, I have hurt him already...How could I let him fight with himself alone when I myself is the cause of his pain!? Di, I can't run away! I have to face it...He won't punish me, but himself. Di, you know that...Please! I would do whatever it would take me to her his forgiveness," she said.

"Okay, Khushi, as you say...I get food here!" Anjali said as she agreed and she was back with it within 15 minutes.

"Khushi, if you need something else please do let me know!"

She nodded as she took the plate of food from her hand.

"Good luck, dear!" she said as she kissed her forehead.

***
As Anjali left Khushi walked to the door and knocked it...

There was no response from inside...

"Arnav ji, can you please open the door?!"

Still no response...

"Arnav ji, I won't go from here, until you open the door!" she said.

But Arnav hadn't been responding.
Her heart thudded as she knocked on the door getting little worried.

"Arnav ji, I know you are listening me, but please...Why are you taking out anger at food!?"

"Please, Arnav ji, open the door!" she said as she sadly sat down the floor and kept the plate beside herself.

"Arnav ji, I won't eat either until you won't please, Arnav ji..."

"Khushi, you haven't eaten anything since afternoon!" Arnav remembered Anjali's words.

He was mad at Khushi, but not at his child. He wiped his tears and opened the door.

Khushi immediately looked at him, but he just opened the door and went inside almost immediately after.

Khushi quickly got up with plate of food in her hands, with hope in her heart and happiness that at least he had opened the door.

"Arnav ji, please eat something."

"Khushi, I have only let you to come in this because I care for my child...But thank you so much for hiding that...It did hurt me to the core..." His voice was dark and cold.

Khushi quickly put the plate on the bed and stood in front of him.

"Arnav ji, I didn't mean to hurt you...I know you care for me and I have hurt you, but I promise it won't happen again...I promise!" she swore. "The only reason, I hid this truth because I was afraid...I couldn't find the courage believe me..."

"I don't damn care about that, Khushi...I don't care about that!" he repeated making every word of his clear.

"You are pregnant with my child...You didn't even once thought of telling me about that at least? I understand that you couldn't find the courage, but you really needed courage to tell me about my child? And please don't tell me you were afraid that I won't accept this baby!"

"No, Arnav ji...I never doubted that..."

"Then tell where did I go wrong in my love that you gave me such a brutal punishment? Where did I?" he asked crying as he lightly shook her by her shoulder.

"Khushi, when you blamed me, I wasn't that hurt back then, than I am right now...But please don't worry about it...I still love you enough that you don't have to ask for my forgiveness. You eat the food, I don't want our baby to be the sufferer," he said flatly as he had his back towards her.

She couldn't accept his anger towards her.
Khushi felt extremely angry at herself. But all of sudden, her health had gotten worst.

She felt the sudden jolt of pain that made her body shook.
"Aahh...aaah," she let out a painful screech.

"Ar...nav...ji!" she shrieked as pain in her stomach got unbearable and she fell on the floor, clenching her stomach tightly.

"Khushi..." he shouted as he immediately turned around and saw her crying in pain. Her body curled into a tight ball. He fell on her side immediately and placed her head in his lap.

"Arnav ji, it's hurting!" she winced as his face got blurred in front of her eyes.

"Shit..." he cursed..."Khushi, you don't worry...You will be fine..." he assured.

"Our babies!" she barely muttered.

"Nothing will happen to our baby, Khushi!" he said between his tears. "Nothing..." he said more to himself than to her. "I won't let anything happen to both of you guys..." he was assuring himself.

He picked her up in his trembling arms. At one point the pain was unbearable that she couldn't able to tolerate it and collapsed. Wasting no more time Arnav rushed her to the hospital.

***At the City Hospital***

"Di, Khushi...!" Arnav said as he gestured towards the I.C.U.

"Don't worry Chotey nothing will happen to Khushi and your baby!" Anjali assured, but she herself was worried. She made him sit in the chair.

The whole Raizada family paced back and forth in worry, as they waited for the doctor to out of the I.C.U.

"Di, why did she hurt herself? Why?" Arnav said crying. "She had been really depressed, since two months. She not only did that, but give her child the punishment too. I never knew Khushi could be this careless. If she couldn't find the courage then you should have told me...Why didn't you tell me? We had been in touch with each other...She had been managing alone. What should I make out of all what she had done with me? Didn't she need me?"

"Chote, I understand. Things not always happens the way we want them to be...I know you love, Khushi, more than anything...Then please forgive her...I am sure she didn't mean to hurt you...We would have told you about her pregnancy, but she said "di I want Arnav ji to give this good news by myself." That's why we didn't say anything. And today, she had told you...In less than 6 months you will be a father...Forget about everything! At this stage, she needs you, your support. She has already hurt herself too much. It could only make things worst. For you, for your child, and for Khushi."

Anjali wanted to tell him that there had been few complications lately, but she felt no need. It would just sour their relationship even more. But recently, Khushi's reports were absolutely fine. She wished everything was alright with Khushi. She silently prayed for Khushi 's and her baby's well being.

"By doing so you will only succeed in helping, Shilpa," Anjali continued. "Helping what she really wanted. To separate you guys. I am sure you don't want that!"

"If you really think, why she hid everything because she was punishing herself...I have seen her crying to sleep every other day...It's not her fault completely, but ours too. We were with her, but we didn't say anything. If you want to punish, then do so, but us."

"At last, I would only suggest you to move on, Chote. I have told you what I had to...But do think of her, of your unborn baby, and your relationship! After all, she is sorry right? We can't punish her, at least not at the moment. And I know you will take the right step that will be good for all of us!"

***
Arnav let go off his unnecessary anger as he calmly analyzed Anjali's words. Anyways, he had already let out the anger. Whatever happened was undone. Of course, Khushi loves himmand he doesn't doubt that by a mere mistake.

She couldn't find the will power to tell him and it all would have happened to be quite hard for her, he thought.

He was looking at the bright side. And released all the grudges that he held against her.

He got up as he walked to the picture that hung on the wall.

A picture of a smiling baby.

A complete beautiful feeling engulfed his heart. He was going to be a father! He wasn't a fan of kids, but he will have one of himself and he knew he will love him or her.

His Khushi was pregnant. He had come to know about it in a worst way and that would always prick his heart.

But anyways, no hard feelings, not anymore. He was concerned now as it nearly had been an hour and doctor hadn't come out.

He hoped his Khushi and the baby was fine.

Anjali looked at him in pain. "Please, god, he had been through a lot already, please, I beg you to keep Khushi and her baby fine!" she kept on praying as she was getting restless.
***

"Mr. Raizada!" Doctor said as he come out of the I.C.U.
Arnav rushed to him. His heart thudded and his pulse jumped in his throat.

"Doctor, Khushi and my baby are fine right!?"

"Yes," he said. "Both are fine!"

Anjali fell down in her seat as she burst into her tears of happiness and relief. Finally she could breathe.

"First it was quite serious...But now their condition is stable...Please be careful from now on wards...If certain carelessness will be incorporated again it can be quite life taking...What I mean is keep her happy as much as possible!"

"I will!" Arnav vowed.

"In few minutes, she will be shifted to the general ward and then you could go meet her!"

***In the general ward***

"Arnav ji, I am sorry that I excused you of such a dirty act...I am sorry that I didn't believe you...I am really regretting for my poor decisions...But believe me I am really sorry!"

Arnav looked into her teary eyes as she spoke.

"Shilpa, was right if I truly loved you, I shouldn't have blamed you!" she said as she burst into tears and covered her face with her hands.

Arnav quickly moved her hands, unveiling her face that was drenched in her tears.

"Do you think you didn't or don't love me!?" he asked.

"I do love you, Arnav ji...I love you more than anything!" she answered immediately, undoubtedly.

"Yes, you loved me that's why you were hurt! You loved me so much that you couldn't digest that anyone else could be in my life...If I were in your place I would have reacted the same..." Arnav told her.

"But I hurt you by not trusting...I hurt you by not listening you! By hiding everything!"

"Yes, you did! I was hurt...But that's okay...I have forgotten everything!" he honestly replied.

"Arnav ji, I promise, I won't trust anyone blindly...I won't I promise!" she cried. "I was guilty that's why I couldn't even ask for sorry...Because I knew I didn't deserve sorry and you didn't deserve me!"

"Hey, sssh!" he immediately quietened her. "Don't even dare to say that...If I have spent three months away from you, bared the pain, to live apart from you was only because I wanted you for forever..."

"Am I forgiven?" she asked hopefully.

"I told you don't have to ask for sorry..."

"Arnav ji, I have hidden one more thing from you!" she then said.

"What now?" he asked.

"It's twins!"

"That's good then!" he said without giving a thought. Then he suddenly said "what!?"

She nodded shyly as she blushed. "We are going to have twins!"

"Khushi, you are not kidding me!" he said in disbelief as he jumped a little.

"Yes," she answered.

All the pains that they both had gone through had vanished completely with no trace of it.

If the pain was double, the happiness that Arnav got was quadrupled.

He couldn't say anything, but hug her. "Thank-you so much, Khushi!" he mumbled.

"I love you, Arnav ji!" she said as she tightly hugged him back.

Arnav pulled back from the hug as he looked into her eyes.

"I know our children will be as beautiful as you!" he said as he lightly touched his forehead with hers.

"Thank you God!" Nani said as she took sigh of relief.

"What a perfect, moment!!! No evil eyes ever get in between two pure souls!" Anjali said as she stood outside the ward.

NK pushed them away. "This moment should be captured then," NK said as he entered in the ward without warning and clicked their picture!!!

Can you forgive me please?! Chapter 2

But the sound that echoed was louder than Khushi's shout and the very next thing everybody knew, she was on the floor...Khushi had slapped hard enough to knock sense into her ugly brain.

Khushi was absolutely furious. Not that much at Shilpa than she was at herself.

Shilpa fell on the hard floor crying.

"Get up!" She let out a scornful screech.

"Khushi, what you are thinking is not the..." Shyam opened his mouth to tell that they were doing drama. He still hadn't realized why Khushi had slapped her.

"I said get up!" Khushi yelled ignoring Shyam and Shilpa without wasting time got up on her feet.

"Now could you please tell everyone what were you doing here?"

"Khushi, just let it go!" Anjali immediately said terrified.

Khushi turned to her side, to look at scared Anjali. "Di, don't you want to know why she came in between you guys?" she asked.

Unaware of the truth, Anjali noted the sarcasm in Khushi's voice.

"Khushi, it's definite that we will have divorce...I don't want to know the truth from her mouth when every truth is in front of me!" Anjali said as whatever sensical excuse she could form in her head.

Khushi remembered that she had said the same thing when she had just jumped to the conclusion.
But today one more couple was going to break up...Just because of Shilpa and she couldn't bear it. And most importantly it was her own that was at verge of breaking, if she hadn't known the truth.

"Anjali, we have to do something. You remember what doctor had said!" Shyam said.

"Yes, I know...I think we shouldn't just have done anything such. It was just my stupid idea!" Anjali said as she wept silently.

"Don't cry we have to tell everything that it was just out drama to bring both of them close!" Shyam concluded and Anjali agreed.

"Khushi, I have to tell you something..." Shyam spoke up.

"You don't have to say in anything in your defence, jiju! I know you and Anjali di are just another victim whose life this Shilpa had decided to ruin!" Khushi said, but none present in the room could understand the meaning behind what she had said.

"Can you say few words in your praise or should I disclose your true talents in front of everyone so that they could give you better awards?!" Khushi said. Her voice was dark and cold that made Shilpa shudder.

"We are gone!" NK mumbled.

"I tell..."Shilpa muttered between her sobs. She was trembling in fear.

"Stop her!" Akaash muttered.

"Whatever, I told you about Arnav was all lie," Shilpa started and everyone now looked at her and then at each other as whatever they were thinking, completely opposite of it was happening.

"What is she saying!?" Akaash asked.

Anjali and Shyam both shrugged their shoulder.

"It was true that we were college friends. I always wanted to be an actress and for that dream to come true, I needed someone rich and with power and Arnav had it all. But there was no doubt he was the most handsome boy in the college. I had been attracted to him..."

Everyone present in the hall had their eyes widened in shock, and some were disgusted as true colors of Shilpa was slowly revealed.

Now, behaviour of Khushi towards Shilpa was making sense to them and even Nani was surprised that it could be Shilpa behind the sour relationship between her daughter-in-law and grandson.

"I had asked my grandma to talk to Arnav's grandma, but she refused...Arnav refused!" Shilpa said angrily.

"You couldn't able to accept the refusal then you decided the otherwise?" Khushi asked.

"Yes, I didn't loose hope. I wanted him to be mine at any cost...So, at the farewell party of the college I added intoxicated drug into Arnav drink; too high on alcohol that he doesn't know what he was doing!? And that night..."

Everyone stilled; there heartbeat stopped for a moment when they thought something wrong happened between Arnav and Shilpa...

Arnav felt all of their eyes at him, but he didn't look at them. Because he knew just like to prove his innocence he had no proof.

Shilpa thought she could still control everything. Her mind had stopped to such an extent where she didn't think how come Khushi knew the truth or to what extent she knew it.

She thought she could still make Arnav suffer and his family for refusing her.

"We did what we shouldn't have done..." she concluded.

Everyone stood still...

"This woman is lying!" Akaash said.

"Yes, Chote can't do anything such!" Anjali added.

"Absolutely, I have full faith on saleh sahab!" Shyam then said.

And there was a sense of approval form others too.

"Khushi, bitiya don't believe her!" Nani said.

Khushi felt a pang of guilt. She truly didn't love Arnav she thought.

Khushi knew it was another lie from Shilpa's, She had lost piece of her mind...Another slap on her ugly thoughts, made her ear ring and the echo of the slap now echoed in her mind.

It was a slap on her cheap thoughts and Shilpa felt it.

"I am asking you to tell the truth!" Khushi yelled. "Otherwise, the person you really love, your fiance...I would tell him everything! But who knows you are cheating on him too!"

"No." Shilpa was shaking her head.

"Please don't tell, Rohan anything...I do love him...Please Khushi...I am really sorry for what I did...I tell you the truth...Nothing had happened between us that night...Nothing...I just wanted my revenge that's why I did that...I made random story...Since, I had added intoxicated drug into his drink, but we hadn't done anything. Khushi, I am not lying...But I beg you don't tell him," she said as she fell on her knees.

"See I knew our Chote can't do anything!" Mami ji spoke.

"What a shameless girl?" Anjali fumed.

"This was the reason that I didn't agree to get my Chote married to you!" Nani snapped angrily.

Khushi angrily held her by her arm and made her stand on her feet.

"Do you even have any idea because of you what have I done? I blamed my husband...My Arnav ji," Khushi cried.

Arnav felt sudden rush of relief in his veins. He took a long deep breath as finally he could breathe. He was living. Finally, his Khushi knew the truth. A broad smile made it's way on his tired face.

"Because I believed you, I blamed him...By doubting you, I didn't want to raise a finger on a woman that I thought was one of those, who are trapped...I didn't doubt on you, on your character because I thought a woman can lie about anything, but not anything such...I was so wrong that I believed your fake tears...Your lies...Just because of women like you, other innocent women don't get justice...Just because women like you!" Khushi cried as she was totally shattered.

"Because of you I broke every relation of mine with, Arnav ji...!" Khushi poked finger in her shoulder in disgust.

"Because of me he didn't even meet his family. He stayed away from his family, alone. Because I told him.I was too angry to even realize how he would live there alone. He loved me, but I blamed him...I saw your pain and ignored to see the truth in his eyes!

"But you must be wondering how come I know you truth!? I understood everything, the day I saw Shiv with his real mother...And after that the fake reports, your claim to be Shiv's mother was a big question and an answer to itself!

"I feel sorry for Rohan...I saw him with you at the mall then I got to know that he is your fiance...If I wanted, I should have given my piece of mind to you, I would have told everything to him, but I remained quite because I don't render people relationships like you do...I am sorry for Rohan...I fear he loves you, but what he will get?! Nothing. You will break his heart too when you will get what you want from him!"

"Not anymore!" a male voice said. And recognizing the voice Shilpa turned around in shock.

"Rohan!"

"Yes, me!" Rohan said as he walked into the house.

"I have listened everything, Shilpa, and I am not sorry, Khushi, but glad. I am glad that I know her truth."

"Rohan, please I am really sorry for what I did...But believe me I really love you!"

"But I don't..." Rohan stated. "I love someone else...I agreed to marry you because my family wanted...But I couldn't admit in front of my family because I really thought you love me...I didn't want to break your heart...I sacrificed my love for you...I saw the truth in you...But guess what you are a very good actress and what are the chances that you won't deceive me after what I have heard about you...I don't know what should I call, whether my luck or what that I followed you here and heard this truth of yours."

"Please, Rohan, how could you do that? How could you love someone else?"

"Why do you only have the licence to hurt everyone?" he asked.

"What happen Shilpa bitiya?" Mami Ji said. "Haven't you heard the proverb!? As you sow, so shall you reap?!"

"Yes, you should get this punishment for trying to break my chotey's and sister-in-laws relationship!" Anjali said bitterly.

"I am sorry, chote, Khushi we had done this drama to bring you guys together, but I didn't know it will be this successful!" Anjali said.

"I was quite amazed to hear this story that la told us was yours...But I didn't know it indeed practically was yours not just randomly stolen..." Anjali said.

And beside crying shilpa had nothing else to do.

"Thank you everyone that you brought her true face in front of me!" Rohan said shooting an angry look at Shilpa. "I think I can go and apologize my love!" he said and left.

"Rohan!" Shilpa shouted at his back, but he was out of her sight.

There was a sudden rush anger in her she turned around and furiously looked at Khushi. But Khushi wasn't afraid of her.

"You will regret, Khushi, I promise you would!" Shilpa threatened.

"And you are blaming me?! Blame your trust, Mrs. Raizada if you had truly loved him you wouldn't have doubted him," Shilpa said as she still wasn't ready to leave any of the stone unturned.

And it pricked Khushi's heart. It was the harsh truth. She didn't trust the person who had loved her more than his life.

"Hello, who you are to say all this to her? And how you dare to threat my bhabi!" NK shouted angrily. "Just try to even touch her, I promise, you will face worst from me!"

Everyone looked at him as they all lightly smiled in surprise. First time, they all had seen NK all serious.

"Very good, NK!" Akaash said as he patted his shoulder.

"Thank you!" NK said as he felt proud of himself.

"Is there anything you want to listen, Jhumri?" Akaash said as he still found her standing in their house.

"No, she wants award for being the worst Jodi breaker!" NK said and laughed at his own joke, but shortly others joined him too.

Shilpa's blood was boiling. All of their laughs were triggering her anger...Knifing her ego, but she knew she was over...Her game was over...She had gotten the worst award for her lies; she had tried to ruin Khushi and Arnav's relationship, but in return she had lost what she got. Feeling shameful, she ran from there...

"Gone!" Anjali said happily then she looked at Arnav and Khushi.

"Guys let's go!" Anjali gestured to everyone to give Arnav and Khushi some alone time, that they both needed now for sure.

"Arnav ji..." Khushi said as he turned around to leave from there.

"HP, please keep my luggage in the guest room!" he said looking at Khushi.

"Arnav ji, shall we please talk!?

"What you have to talk about, Khushi!?" Arnav asked. "That you are sorry...then please don't be, I am not angry at you at all!" he said coldly.

"I know, Arnav ji, you are hurt!"

"Hurt!? Why would I!?" he sarcastically asked.

"Please, Arnav ji, I know, I should have given you one chance to explain yourself..."

"But you didn't...That's what hurt me, Khushi...Not once. Most importantly I was hurt by the fact that you really thought, I could act that cheap..."

"No, Arnav ji..."

"Really?...I mean like really you think that I can't?!...Then what was it when you had said you didn't want to see my face...Tell me what had happened to your trust the day you had asked me about Shilpa?! What about the trust that you had proudly said you had in me?!" he asked.

"Khushi, I know I was wrong too, I should have told you before what Shilpa had done!? But I didn't. Because I knew, I didn't do anything...I am a human, I do make mistakes, but not such mistakes that I have to regret...That I sleep with a woman and leave her!" he said with contempt.

"Arnav ji, you were so scared when I had asked you about Shilpa that had made my doubts even clear!" she said.

"If you are ready to hear the truth from me so listen. Before telling you the truth...Shilpa had come to me...She was blackmailing me...She had pictures clicked of me and of herself while I was intoxicated...She wanted me to accept, Shiv, but I refused. I refused...Then she told you the fake story and showed you the pictures...That's why I stayed mum...I tried to acquaint you of the truth, but you were not ready to listen...I didn't have any solid proof to prove that I haven't cheated on you...How did I know I didn't because she had told me after telling the lie...You know Khushi, if by mistake if, I had done anything wrong, you would have been the first person to know the truth...I didn't have even marry you...I can't even think of spoiling any girl's life not even in my dream..."

"I know the truth, Arnav ji!" she cried.

"Three months...They are just easy to mention, but ask me how did I spend every single second of this three months without you..."

Khushi cried as Arnav let out his anger. Ignorant of her state he just continued blabber that he held in his heart and mind.

"And by the way, I should be sorry, that my love was that weak that I had to prove myself..."

"No, Arnav ji, please don't say so!" she sobbed as she went close to him.

She held him by his shirt. "I am truly sorry..."

"Then why didn't you tell me that you already knew the truth, Khushi!? Why didn't you?" he asked furiously.

"I could only conclude one thing that it had been awesome time for you to live apart from me, wasn't it?"

Khushi shook her head violently. "And me stupid was just waiting...Eagerly. I believed that one day you will come running to me when you would know the truth," he said as he released his shirt from her grip. "But, you didn't!"

"Please tell me, Khushi, I was wrong!"

"Tell me since when you knew the truth!"

"Two months!" she answered in guilt.

"Awesome, Khushi! What held you back!?" he asked.

"Arnav ji, I am really sorry...I didn't tell you, because I was too guilty...I couldn't gather the courage to face you...Arnav ji, I can't live a single second away from you!"

"Khushi, you can stay away from me...And in this three months you have proved that...You have proved me that you could stay away from me..."

"And if Anjali di hadn't called me here, it could have been forever! I wouldn't have come and you wouldn't have told me...Am I right, Khushi?"

"I am truly sorry, Arnav ji! Please give me any punishment you want to give me...I will accept it!"

"I can't Khushi...Giving you punishment means giving myself pain...And please don't cry you very well know that I can't see tears in your eyes...It's better that you leave me alone for few minutes...where you had able to spend three months without me, I know few more minutes will be nothing...Please leave me alone!!!" he said even though he didn't want her to leave. He was just being cruel, but he had no control over his emotions.

He had held himself strong for quite long and today he was shattered.

Khushi didn't want to leave either, but she she knew it would be the only right thing to do at this moment...

She was hurt, but even more than that Arnav was. That she understood. He had all right to get mad at her, she thought. Especially, after knowing that she knew the truth since two months.

"Khushi, what happen? Didn't Chote listen you!?" Anjali said sadly as she saw Khushi.

"It's okay di...His anger is justified.I will make everything right...He just needs little time and space," Khushi said as Anjali came to her to pacify her.

"You will, but please don't stress yourself too much...And yes once his anger calm down a bit, he himself will come to you to talk...I hope you remember you have to tell him one more thing, it's already too late, Khushi," Anjali warmed her.

Khushi sadly smiled and said "Di, can we make Arnav ji's favourite food!

"Khushi, I make it...You go and rest!"

"I am fine, di!"

"Okay, come to the kitchen then!" Anjali said as she cupped her face and left.

***At the dinning Table***

"Wow, the smell is so good!" NK said as he sat in the chair.

"Why it wouldn't be? After all Khushi had cooked everything...That is also especially for Chotey!" Anjali said as she saw Arnav coming.

"I guessed so, only bhabi's hand made food smell so good ..."

"And wow it is cooked specially for Nanav bhai!" NK emphasized.

"Yes!" Anjali said. "Hey, Chote come...everyone was just waiting for you!"

"But where is Khushi now?" Shyam asked.

"She got important call from the office, I think she has gone to receive the call," Anjali said.

"Office, but it's a day off for them! For the Christmas Eve!" Mama ji said.

"Yes!" Shyam agreed.

"Must be something important!"

"Yup, we could wait for her!"

"Yes, sure!" everyone agreed.

***In Khushi's room***
"I don't know Shyna...I think I have asked you to mail those papers to Delhi office..." Khushi said as she sat on the bed, feeling tired and exhausted.

"Mam are you okay...you sound little tired!" Shyna said.

"Yes, I am fine..." she answered.

"I am sorry mam I am bothering you, if it wasn't important I wouldn't have. Anyways, I go to the office and see if I can still find it..."

"No, it's okay...just give me a call, if you do find them...Otherwise, we have to work on them again...Since, they are quite important..."

"Yes, mam you don't worry...I must have left at office then...Good night mam, take care and Merry Christmas in advance."

"Same to you, bye!" Khushi said and hung up the phone and shortly after HP came into the room.

"Khushi, di everyone is waiting for you downstairs!" he said as he knocked on the door.

"I am coming!" Khushi replied.

She weakly got up, but fell back on the bed as she felt little light headed. She sat there for a while and when she thought she was stable she got up and went downstairs.

***At the dinning table***

"Hey, Khushi, come we were waiting for you!"

"I am sorry, Shyna had to talk about something important."

"No worries, please sit you haven't eaten anything since afternoon!"

She weakly nodded and grabbed the seat beside Arnav and looked at him. Arnav knew Khushi was looking at him, but he kept on staring in his empty plate.

Khushi got up and took the bowl of his favourite pasta. She was going to put it in his plate, but he kept his hand, forbidding her to do so.

Anjali looked at him, but didn't say anything. But simply shook her head as she smiled. Anger always sits on his nose, she thought.

"You need something else?" Khushi asked as she thought he might did not just want to eat pasta at the moment.

So she tried shahi paneer with rice, he refused that too. "I can help myself," he said in a nice and a soft way, but Khushi knew he didn't mean it.

Khushi sat in the seat and waited as he himself put anything, but he didn't.

"Arnav ji, please have something to eat!"

"I said you don't have to worry about it..." he almost shouted.

Khushi got startled.

"Chote, she is just telling you to eat!" Nani said

"She doesn't have to care about it Nani!" he snapped. "By the way, I am not hungry, and I am tired just need sleep...Have faced enough drama lately!" he muttered.

Khushi got up.

"Arnav ji, I am sorry!" she murmured at Arnav's back as tears slowly started clouding her eyes.

Arnav stopped.

"Saleh sahab, it was just misunderstanding just let it go!" Shyam said in Khushi's defence.

"Jiju, I really don't want to talk about it!" he said flatly over his shoulder.

"But at least eat some thing Khushi had made everything especially for you, alone!" Mami said.

An ache grew in Khushi's stomach, as whatever everyone were saying was fading at the back of her head and she fell in her seat as she couldn't able to stand.

"Khushi!" everyone screamed her name as they stood up their seat.

Arnav immediately turned around and ran towards her.

"Khushi, what happen!? You okay!?" he asked as his anger was replaced by worries. His heart thudded in fear in his chest.

Khushi softly nodded her head.

"Khushi, you are absolutely not fine...Chote, please take her in the room...I bring food in the room for her!" Anjali said.

Arnav worriedly nodded his head. "Come Khushi!" he said. Khushi stood up her seat.

Arnav wrapped his arms around her shoulder as he slowly took her to the room.

"Please forgive..." she said, but as her head whirled, she fainted into his arms.

"Khushi!" he gravely screamed her name, as he held her helpless body in his arms.

***
"It's all because of me!" Anjali said. "My stupid idea! I should have know that Khushi is still too weak to handle stress...And guess what Chote will even be more mad when he would..."she added, but quickly stopped before completing her sentence when she saw Arnav.

"Can anyone tell what has happened to, Khushi!?" Arnav asked as he sensed the uncomfortable tension in the air.

Everyone stayed mum with unknown expression on their faces. But his heart told him that there is something serious that they all were hiding from him.

He was getting agitated at their silence. "Chote!" Anjali spoke up.

"Yes, what?" he asked. His heart palpitated as it was slowly sinking in fear and by their expressions he couldn't even tell what was the matter exactly.

Anjali was going to say something when Doctor came out of Khushi's room after her check up...

"Do...doctor, how's Khushi?" Arnav hurriedly asked.

"Mr. Raizada she is fine and you could go and see her!" Doctor said.

"Chote, please don't be angry at Khushi!" Anjali said.

He didn't care him being angry at her, because he was worried of her health more than anything. And their silence was killing him.

He didn't bother to ask them anymore and rushed into the room to ask Khushi by himself.

As he stood at the room, he looked at Khushi sat straight up in the bed. Tears were flowing down her cheeks and drenching her saree pallu.

As, she saw Arnav standing, she immediately wiped her tears with her hands and sniffed.

He locked the door behind.

"Khushi, what has happened to you!? Please tell me...There is something that I don't know...Khushi are you sick? I wish you are not...Tell me, Khushi, there is nothing wrong with you...I am right Khushi, right!? You are perfectly fine!" he restlessly asked.

"I am pregnant, Arnav ji!" she mumbled.

"I knew, Khushi, some..." he muttered hurriedly, but stopped when he understood Khushi's words.

He completely froze as he was a statue.

"I am three month pregnant, Arnav ji!" she finally disclosed.

Arnav immediately got up and backed up. Away from her.

Khushi looked at him in worry as he suddenly moved away from her.

Now he understood why Anjali had said don't be mad at her.

"You have been hiding too much from me lately, Khushi didn't you?!"

Arnav's question terrified her. And this is what she was scared of. She slowly got up the bed to talk to him, but he only got farther away from her.

Can you forgive me please?! Chapter 1

After all, she had set those boundaries.

But today, she needed him...

Because she knew the truth that she had refused to listen months ago; before they broke with each other.

She wanted to apologize, but how would she? She never able to gather the courage.

Anjali might have no idea what really had happened between them, but she kind off knew that Khushi was fighting with herself like she held herself responsible.

Anjali kept looking at her seeing her vulnerable condition.

Khushi was trying her level best to hide all the emotions, that threatened to come out any moment in form of her tears.

But she had promised she won't shed any tears in front of anyone.

She promised that she would keep everything to herself. Inside her heart.

She had to battle with herself. Alone.

That's what she had chosen it for herself. To punish herself.

With no support from any one. No one.

But limit to bare the pain of that punish was weakening her day by day. Mentally!

She couldn't deny the fact that every part of her heart was screaming for Arnav. Her every breath wanted close to him.

"Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada!" the lady called once, but she had to repeat herself thrice when Khushi hasn't heard someone calling her.

Khushi seemed to lost in her world. Thinking about Arnav and the past.

"Khushi!" Anjali lightly patted her shoulder. Khushi immediately looked at her as she came out of her trance. With the look of pain on her face.

"It's your turn!" she told her.

She nodded and went inside with the lady.

Anjali was really concerned now. Khushi was getting more & more reserved. She would hardly talk to anyone. If asked anything she would just answer in simple yes or no...And sometimes she would just nod her head or shook her head or smile. Khushi had busied herself at the office. Just like Arnav. She would spend most of the hours at office than at home with the family members.

Other than that nobody had encountered Khushi whom everyone knew off.

It happened the day Khushi had come from U.K. to India back alone without Arnav. They never talked anything, but really happened between them. They didn't even know they were really angry at each other until they had started ignoring each other.

Everyone had tried their best to bring both of them together...Whether it was Akaash or NK or mama ji...or Mami ji...or Nani...or Anjali herself they all failed.

At some point, they did succeed by making them at least to talk on phone. But they would just held phone close to their ear, but don't really say anything and sometimes they would simply cut the phone.

"Khushi, I don't know what you guys are burying inside your minds and hearts, but I can't see you guys like this anymore. I think, I have to do something!" Anjali concluded. "Something that could really bring both of you together, once again."

She picked up her phone as she waited for Khushi and dialled Akaash's number and told him to be at AR hotel office along with NK, Shyam, and Lavanya.

Later, she made call to Arnav.
***
"Hello!" Arnav said as he picked up the phone.

"Good evening, Chote!"

"Good evening, di. How are you?"

"How are you? Still at office?"

"Yes, I was doing some paper work...Have very important meeting in the morning!" Arnav answered.

"Hmm..."

Arnav felt it wasn't his sister talking to him. Because his sister has that cheerfulness in her voice that was missing today...Sadness hardly take over her unless it's something really serious and to worry about.

Simply recognizing tone of her voice he knew there was something that was really bothering her.

"Di, everything alright!?" he asked to make sure.

"No!" she answered straight. It sounded like she would cry and she wasn't acting...

Arnav lightly put his file away as he got up his chair. His heart thumped.

"Is everything home alright? Are you alright?" he kept on asking, but Anjali stayed quite. She was waiting him to take Khushi's name, but he didn't.

She was resisting hard to not to tell him about Khushi...

Million times before, she had struggled between telling Khushi's condition. And many more times she had control herself because she knew she wasn't the right person.

However, she knew that it was enough of their childishness...They were husband wife, but acting like they didn't even know each other. Even strangers don't really react. Three months away from each other is not a joke...

"Di why aren't you saying anything?" Arnav nearly shouted in fear as negative thoughts crossed his mind.

"Chote can you please come back to India!?" she finally managed to say, after a long pause.

"But tell me what's the matter?" he asked again loosing his patience.

"Chote, I can't tell you anything on phone...Please come back in day or two!" she hurriedly said and hung up the phone.

"Hello...Hello..." he shouted, but he only the beep of the hung up phone, as an answer.

"What could be wrong!? Is Khushi alright!?" he thought.

He called his agent immediately and booked the most recent flight to India.

***
"How was it?" Anjali asked as Khushi came outside.

"Good!" she answered. But the bonus was, that made Anjali smile was that for the first time in months she had seen a smile on her face not a smile to convince her that she was happy, but a real smile.

"Hmm looks like it was awesome!" she cheerfully remarked and she was rewarded with another smile, but that had quickly vanished before Anjali could cherish the moment.

She was same Khushi again, who had forgot to smile and even live.

Khushi continued to walk without realizing Anjali still stood behind.

"Khushi I promise I will give you the reason to smile!" Anjali said to herself.

Then she walked at the faster pace to match Khushi's.

"Khushi, do you want to go out and eat. May be something that you are feeling like eating!"

"Shall we go to the office?"

Anjali felt the ache in her voice, but she maintained a warm smile on her face.

"Office? You should rest!"

"I am alright di...I have some important work that's pending..."

"Khushi..." Anjali had opened her mouth to protest, but she was stopped.

"Please di!"

"Okay, I can drop you at work..."

"Aren't you coming?"

"I am going to the hotel...Have to meet NK and Akaash they want me
there, have to sign some official papers."

She nodded.

"See you at home in the evening. I might come to the office too, but not sure...If you need any help just gave me call I will be there, myself. And when ever you are done with your work just call home they will send driver for you..."

"Sure!" Khushi answered and got into the car.

***AT AR HOTEL OFFICE***

"Hi di, how is Khushi?" Akaash said to Anjali as she walked into the office. He himself got up as he kept the blue file on the table, that he was reading aside and approached her to give her a side hug.

"She is fine...Did Chote call?"

"No, he actually didn't and but I have explained everyone at home what to say if in case he calls home to enquire!"

"Perfect...This time I hope we can bring them together!"

"Finger crossed, angel!" NK said as he came in the room and joined them at the table."Nanav bhai just called me!"

"I hope you said what I had told you to say!"

"Yes, I said I don't know what's the problem...Anjali di is really sad!"

Anjali gave him a thumbs up.

"Where is your, jiju?"

"Here I am! Good afternoon everyone!" Shyam said as he entered the office.

"Hello, Jiju!" NK said and gave him a high five.

Shyam first put his black coat on the chair and then went to Anjali.

"Hi, baby!" he said and gave her the peck on her cheek. "How was Khushi's appointment?"

"It was good!"

"That's good! Okay, what's the matter that you called me? Everything okay?"

"I have asked chote to come!" Anjali spoke.

"Did he agree to come?" Shyam asked in disbelief.

"Yes, he has to come...We have to pretend that there is a problem between me and you!"

"Problem between us...wow!!" Shyam laughed. "You mean we have to do acting!" he further added as he was really excited. "But do you think it's easy to fool saleh sahab!? It will be an easy catch for him, since we never fight!"

"I know jiju, but will believe me we will make every thing look so real!" Akaash said.

"Okay what will be the basis of our fight!? Or the basis at what we will be mad at each other?"

"What do you think when La will be of our use?" NK said. "But wait where is she?"

"Hello, everyone I am so very sorry...Hi, Angel...Hi, jiju! Hello Nanhe...Hey Aki...What should I tell you guys I was so busy with the shooting...Asked the director to let me go early since he was in a good mood he approved."

"It's perfectly fine dear you are on time..." Anjali said.

"Okay, Aki had told me everything on phone."

"So do have any good idea in your mind?!" NK asked.

"I have a power packed story in my mind..." Lavanya said excitedly and explain them everything.

"How was it?" La asked once she is done telling her plan.

"Absolutely stupid...I am not going to anything such...If you have anything else tell us!" Anjali said furiously.

"What's wrong in it, Rani sahiba!?" Shyam asked cooly as he got up from his chair immediately.

"Di, it's just acting!" Akaash assured.

"So what was I doing?" she casual said.

"Di, you scared us!" NK said.

"It means I am a good actress, I am just worried about you guys...I fear you guys will ruin everything!" Anjali mocked.

"Hello, Rani sahiba we are also good actors and today we will prove it...Right guys!?" Shyam said.

"Yes!" NK answered.

"Yes, that's basically the story."

"But we have to be really careful because Arnav, Khushi's relationship is at a very vulnerable stage...One little mistake from our side...We can tangle already messy situation to even worst scenario. We can create even more problems. And whatever we do we have to make sure we don't really go overboard. We have to take care of Khushi too; taking care of her condition," Shyam said with sensibility.

"Yes, jiju is right!" Lavanya agreed and there was a sense of understanding from others too.

"Guys, before we all had tried separately, but now we are together. We have to bring both of them together before new year...And give them their best gift...Especially...Arnav!" Shyam said.

"Absolutely!" they promised each other and themselves.

"See you at home people...By the way who is going to pick chote from the airport?" Anjali asked...

"Me!" NK jumped.

"Absolutely not!" everyone said in a chorus and made their out of the office.

NK pouted.

"But why guys?" he asked as he ran after them. (Poor NK LOL )
***
After long working day, Khushi was finally home. As usual, she entered home, but didn't find anyone.

It was weird because whenever she would come from outside everybody will come running to her.

"Good evening, Khushi di!" OP said.

"Good evening, OP, where is everyone?" Khushi asked.

"Khushi di...everybody is siting in the backyard!" he said.

"Oh okay thanks," Khushi said and made her way to her room to freshen up.

She got startled as she had just passed by Anjali's room and she heard arguments.

"I don't know anything!" Anjali shouted.

It was hard to believe for Khushi since it was the first time she had heard Anjali getting angry or even raise her voice.

"Rani shahiba, whatever you are thinking is not what the truth is!" Shyam said trying to calm his angry wife.

"Oh really you think..." Anjali said, but stopped as she wiped her tears. Shyam traced the path where Anjali was looking at.

"Khushi, you home!" Shyam said sounding normal.

"I am sorry I was just passing by! Everything alright?!" Khushi said nervously.

"Oh yes, everything is fine...These little arguments happen here and there...How was your day at office?" Shyam said.

"It was good!" she replied, but for the whole time she was looking at Anjali. She looked kind off hurt, and angry.

"Come everybody are waiting for you!" Anjali said.

"Di I go and change, then I come!"

"Yes, sure why not?"

"We are waiting for you outside!" Shyam said.

She weakly smiled and left. But she doubted if really everything was fine between them.

Because Anjali looked sad and furious and Shyam was little scared.

Shyam and Anjali gave each other a victorious smile.

***At the AR office (The following morning)

"Good morning, mam...Mr. Shukla is waiting for you in your cabin..."

"Good morning, Shyna, can you please get all the files that I asked you pull out of the store room, in my cabin, after my meeting is done. Tomorrow is a Christmas Eve office will be closed. So make sure whatever needs to finished is here done before the break!"

"No worries mam...I get the files in your cabin...And I will make sure that everything is done today and no work is pending!"

"Thank-you!" Khushi murmured and left.

***
The work that Khushi thought will take hours; was finished in just under three hours. She looked at the clock and it was only 2:00 PM.

"Shyna, any more meetings for today or anything that need my attention!?she asked on the phone.

"No, mam everything is done."

"I think you guys may leave early...And wish everyone Merry Christmas from my side...And also don't forget to give everyone their presents and bonus...picked up yours too!"

"Merry Christmas to you mam and yes I will," Shyna cheerfully answered.

"Merry Christmas!" she mumbled and lightly put the receiver down. She got up her chair and stood near the glass window.

***Flashback***
Arnav tiptoed into the room and hugged Khushi from behind.

Khushi got little scared, but her husband's warm familiar touch put her to the ease.

"Did I scare you?" he asked in his husky voice. His hot breath tickling her skin. His arms wrapped around her protectively.

Khushi shook her head to imply no.

"Merry Christmas!" he whispered in her ear and her pink lips curved into a beautiful smile.

***END OF FLASHBACK***

Khushi felt as Arnav had just wished her Christmas. She felt someone's presence and she so thought it was Arnav. She turned around with a big smile on her face...But as usual it vanished when she saw Shyam standing behind her.

"Jiju aap!" she said sadly.

"Why were you expecting someone else?"

"No jiju...It's nothing like that...You here!?" she said in a low grief tone.

"I was just passing by the office thought of visiting you...Didn't get to meet you in the morning, I left early had very important case today and guess what?"

"You won!" Khushi finished his sentence.

"Yes...But what happen why is everyone leaving early?"

"Yes, we finished work early..."

"Awesome it means you are free too?"

"Yes, I was about to leave too..."

"Perfect...let's go then...NK and Akaash are home today they are waiting for..." Shyam was going to say something, but he immediately got hold of his tongue.

"I mean they are preparing for the Christmas party...It will be fun, come!"

Shyam said as he made Khushi put her arm in his in a gentleman manner and they both made their way out of the office to RM.

***
"Driver you can go home...I will take Khushi madam home!" Shyam said to Khushi's driver.

"Okay sir!"

"Khushi, what I was wondering was we can get few gifts for my Samaira, if you don't mind!"

"No, it's okay..." she said and got into his car.

"Perfect!" he said happily.

He had just sat in his seat when his phone rang.

"Hello, Rani sahiba...No, I was with Khushi...No...Rani Sahiba I came back from the court...Tell me why would I lie?...Rani Sahiba enough of you, okay?...Let's just not talk about it..." he said and furiously hung up the phone.

Khushi looked at him in shock. "What happen, Jiju?" she asked.

"Your Anjali di is...Forget about it!" Shyam gritted his teeth. "You don't worry dear everything is fine!" he added.

***At RM***

"Where were you?" Anjali asked Shyam angrily as he had just entered the house. But she calmed herself when she saw Khushi along with him.

"Rani Sahiba, let me just enter the home first!" he said coolly.

Anjali walked out of there to the living room and Shyam nervously followed her.

"I want to talk to you, Shyam!" Anjali said without looking at him.

"Yes, we can...But here!" he asked as he looked at Khushi.

"Yes, here. Not only in front of her, but everyone..." she shouted.

"Rani Sahiba, let's just not create any drama!"

"Drama?!" she asked in disbelief.

Listening angry Anjali's voice every member of the house came out of their rooms, one by one, to see what's the matter.

They all had a curious look on their faces.

"Am I doing drama?" Anjali asked.

Khushi got startled at Anjali's sudden outburst that she really never encountered.

She only looked back and forth at Shyam and Anjali as she had no idea what was really happening in front of her eyes.

"Anjali, bitiya, what's wrong?" Nani asked.

"Rani sahiba, we can settle everything, but for that just let's talk in private!"

"No, I am fed of all this...I am just too tired pretending everything is okay in between us!"

"What are you saying, Anjali bitiya?" Mami asked.

"Mami, I can't live with Shyam anymore!" she finally said.

There was a pure shock on everyone's face.

"Di, what are you saying?" Khushi finally asked.

"Yes, Khushi...I can't live up with this burden...I am not happy with him and I want divorce from him!" she said.

"Divorce!?" she mumbled in astonishment.

"What's happening in here?!" another loud voice pierced through the air and everyone looked at the source.

Khushi's eyes widened in shock, but there was a look of happiness on everybody's face as they saw Arnav. However, they immediately replaced it with a shock, dramatically.

"May I just know what's really happening here?" Arnav again asked as he paced into the living room.

It took little time for Khushi to register that it was Arnav's voice.

She immediately turned around to look at him. Numerous emotions hit in her face all at once.

Arnav who was first looking at Anjali as he was waiting for answer, his eyes fell at Khushi...

His heart felt an ache the moment he looked at her. In three months it was first time he was seeing his Khushi.
He had given up the hope that he would be able to see her again.

On the other hand, more than shocked, it was only Khushi who knew how happy she was too see him. Her heart was crying in happiness. Finally after three months he was in front of her. His all of sudden appearance was completely out of the blue situation. Until today, it was his photo whom she held close to her heart and cried and today he was right in front of her. But she didn't know whether it was for real or it was just her dream. Her heart was beating at the pace that she thought it might jump out of her body. A single tear fell down her eyes. A ball of emotions rose to her throat, that today, right at the moment, she might not able to have control over, because her weakness was standing at the distance of only ten feet away.

PART 2
On the other hand, more than shocked, it was only Khushi who knew how happy she was too see him. But there was a guilt too in her.

Her heart was crying in happiness.

Finally after three months he was in front of him.

His all of sudden appearance was completely out of the blue situation.
But a treat for her. She had been waiting for him and she didn't know that her wish will be fulfilled this soon.

Until today, it was his photo whom she held close to her heart and cried and today he was right in front of her.

But she didn't even know whether it was for real or it was just her dream.

Her heart was beating at the pace that she thought it might jump out of her body.

A single tear fell down her eyes.

A ball of emotions rose to her throat, that today, right at the moment, she might not be able to have control over, because her weakness was standing at the distance of only ten feet away.

Everyone in the room tried their level best to hide their happiness.

Both of their minds were diverted when Anjali again spoke up and when she knew the first step of the mission was completed.

Akaash winked at her and she was ready for the next step.

"Yes, Chote. I want divorce!"

His forehead furrowed in confusion. "But what's the matter?" he asked Anjali, but she was shedding crocodile tears. So Arnav asked the same question to Shyam.

"Jiju, can you please tell me what's the matter?"

"Uh me...Yes," Shyam stuttered as he was caught off guard.

"Yes, jiju what's the matter?"

"Saleh sahab, what should I say? I don't know why, but she thinks I have extra martial relationship with some one else!" he said.

Khushi and Arnav both immediately looked at each other in shock.

"I can't believe that you are denying that you had relationship with anyone beside me," Khushi's own said words to Arnav echoed in her mind.

"I think?!" Anjali asked Shyam as she went close to him, held him by his shirt and make him face her.

"I have seen you with that girl...You guys all would say what does that prove right?"

"No, I didn't think that!" NK whispered, randomly, in Akaash's ear.
Akaash angrily looked at him and NK murmured "sorry" and moved two feet away from him in fear.

"But, Rani Sahiba, I have told you before and I am repeating that she was no one, but a student who had come for a training!"

"Training...Oh yes, dancing with her at the night club...Going out for a coffee with her...and not picking up my phone calls and your excuses that you are at office, all this comes into your lawyer training?" she said sarcastically.

"Akaash, bhai!" NK again went to him..."What if Nanav bhai asked for the proof?" he whispered.

Akaash rolled his eyes getting little agitated.
"Can you please just shut up?" he mumbled back.

NK kept finger on his lips and again moved away from him.
***
"Arnav ji, it must be easy for you to just forget the night that you might have spent sleeping with the other woman, but you can't hide it!" Khushi angrily blurted out.

"What are you saying, Khushi? For god sake believe me whatever you are thinking is irrelevant!" Arnav said in his defence.

But Khushi was too distraught. Her mind wasn't processing in anyways.
***
Khushi slowly paced towards Anjali. "Anjali di, it could all be your misunderstanding," she said, in guilt.

She wished someone was there to tell her that day, before he had asked him to not come in front of her ever, she might be wrong.

"No, Khushi!" Anjali screamed. "I am even shameful to mention that he is denying everything..."

"Di, may be he has no relationship as you think!" Khushi said. At the moment, she was saying things that she should have thought before blaming Arnav.

"Yes, Khushi I have no relationship with any woman!" Shyam pleaded the way Arnav had. "Please, Rani Sahiba,  I can't even think of anyone other than you! Do you think I would stoop this low when I have loving wife like you and three year old lovely daughter, Samaira!?"

"That's what to regret about, you have done that...You dared to stoop that low... and then you didn't even think once that you have a daughter and thinking of me was a far thing!" Anjali whimpered.

Khushi looked at both of them as they argued. She didn't know how come she hadn't seen the problems between them. Was she that unknown of the world? she thought.

"Di, please calm down!" Khushi managed to say, trying hard to digest her own sobs. "We can talk about it calmly!"

"No, Khushi I can't..." Khushi immediately flinched back and Shyam held her by her shoulders before she could trip.

Anjali mentally bit her tongue and she apologized in her mind before continuing.

"This man has been cheating me...First, I thought he would be back on track...I kept everything in my heart, but no he took it as his liberty!"

***
"I never had thought, Arnav ji, the person whom I loved would cheat on me...I don't even know, how did I get married to such a person who already had a 6 year old child!" Khushi cried. "I can't believe I was ever be wrong in love!"

"No, Khushi you weren't ever wrong and not even now...Please, try to understand that I have only loved you," Arnav said as he kept himself calm. He knew it was nothing, but just an misunderstanding...

***
"Enough of this nonsense, Rani Sahiba...I am telling you that I have no relationship with anyone except you!"

"Akaash, bhai what about jiju's relationship with us...I mean brother-in-law one!" NK asked confused.

"NK!" Akaash muttered."Let this act finish, I promise I will tell you everything...But for now could you just please keep quite?!" Akaash mumbled angrily awfully slow so that nobody else could see hear him except NK.

"Okay!"

"Di, please at least listen him once..."
Akaash chimed in.

"Yes, Anjali bitiya!" Mama Ji said.

"Why you guys think that I am wrong?" Anjali whimpered.

"Di, we are not saying you are wrong we are just saying that just give him the chance to prove himself at least say something. Sometimes what we see and what we hear is not always right!" Akaash said.

"Okay give me one strong proof that you don't have any relationship with anyone!" Anjali said as she thought of giving him that one chance.

"I swear on you!" he said. "I don't think I could give you any other big proof then this...

"Very good, Shyam...Today, you proved that you are the biggest lier ever born and a cheater!"

"Nanav, bhai why aren't you saying anything!?" NK said...

Arnav looked at him, but didn't say anything...

"Chote, say it you believe your lier jiju!" Anjali spoke up.

What he could say? he thought...In this case, he should stand on his sister's side, but he understood his jiju's side too. Because three months ago he too stood at his place. He was blamed.

He looked at Khushi, who couldn't able to meet gaze with his. For some reason, now when he looked at her properly, he found her weak...She had lost so much of weight...Her fair skin looked paler. She looked leaned in her red saree.

"You don't believe me right! Just let me show you their messages!" Anjali said.

***Flashback***

"Khushi, I am not lying it's the truth that your husband who says he loves you had said the same thing to me!" Shilpa cried.

"What nonsense?" Khushi said as she couldn't accept what Shilpa was saying.

"I knew, Khushi, you won't believe me! Not only you, but anyone won't because they aren't the one at my place. You aren't in my place...And why would you believe me!?..." She laughed sadly. "Arnav Singh Raizada, is just too good at manipulating people."

"What do you mean?"

"Me and Arnav were college friends. My grandma was Arnav's grandma's distanced relative. One day Arnav came to me and confessed his love for me...Arnav told his grandma about his and my relationship and she agreed to get both of us married. If you don't believe me just go and ask her...Just like any other simple girl I had dreams that I will have a loving husband, good family. But I was too into my dreams that I distanced myself away from the reality. I forgot that a man like Arnav could have only one need, se*ual need," Shilpa said sadly, but in disgust.

"So what?" Khushi said. "Who doesn't have past? What if she wasn't Arnav's first choice?" she thought.

"You are right, Khushi, who doesn't have past? Some have good and some bad. I had a bad past...Khushi, my family wasn't as rich as Arnav's...But I had self respect, but that too I lost when I came to know that I was pregnant."

Khushi felt an earth shattering shock as she stared blankly at her. Tears flowing down her eyes. Very part of her denying to not to believe her, but as a woman she could feel her pain. No woman could stoop this low and say she was pregnant with anyone man's child.

"I tried my best to meet your husband, but I couldn't. He always kept on running away. But yesterday we had met, but I didn't find the courage to say him anything. Today, I have 6 year old son, Shiv. He too has his dad's traits! He gets angry really easily. He doesn't let anyone come in his life, unless he wants that person on his side...But I will make sure that he doesn't grow up as a man to play with innocent women lives..." Shilpa said.

She wiped her tears and said "I am sorry, Khushi, I am not here to destroy your married life...But I just couldn't stop myself when you asked me about my and Arnav relationships. You know what people call my son an "illegitimate child"...It hurts Khushi to the core...And you know the worst part is it hurts when that little kid comes to me and ask who his father is?"

"That's what locks my mouth, Khushi. I can't tell who is his father..."

"Please go..." Khushi said.

"Khushi, I can't leave you alone like this!"

"I said go!" Khushi shouted.

"Okay, I go, but please Khushi me and Shiv were Arnav's past, but you are his present...He does love you..." Shilpa said in a hurry, but Khushi stopped her from saying anything else later and asked her to leave.

***END OF FLASHBACK***

"It will prove all of you wrong...Give me your phone!" Anjali said.

Shyam nervously looked at people around himself as he took out his phone from his pant pocket.

"Here you go!" Shyam murmured.
Anjali immediately snatched from him angrily.

"Pass code?"

"3337!" he murmured.

Anjali opened the text message app and the message sent to him by a girl.

"Tell me these messages aren't from that girl's side!?" Anjali asked. "That you forgot to delete."

Shyam looked scared now.
"You see these messages!" Anjali said as she gave the phone to Arnav.

Shyam swallowed the hard lump that had formed in his throat.

"Read them, Chote!"

"Go!" Akaash elbowed NK.

"What?"

Akaash gestured him with his index finger towards the phone.

"Oh...Sorry..."

"Show me!" NK said as he took the phone from Arnav.

"Shyam, I cannot live without you...Please tell me when you are finally telling your family about our relationship...especially to your auntie wife Anjali!"

"Auntie?" Anjali's mouth wide opened in shock as she looked at Akaash furiously.

"I didn't write it!" he said though gestures.

"I will see you!" Anjali gestured him back.

"If you love me you will come..." NK continued in astonishment. "If you didn't come, I will give my life and you will be the only one who will be held responsible for it...And don't forget I am going to be a mother of your child..."

"What the heck?" Shyam shouted in his mind. "There is a limit to the lies and me a father of a child of a woman whom I don't even know...You guys wait Akaash and NK..." Shyam fumed.

"Your sweet love Jhumri..."

Akaash didn't know how, but he controlled his laugh when he heard the name Jhumri, even though it was him and NK who had asked to type that message, to the girl who will act as Shyam's girlfriend.

"See Jhumri..." Anjali said. But she herself was almost going to broke out laughing, but then she remembered Shyam saying "one little mistake could just ruin their relationship."

She covered her face with her hands...In reality, she was laughing, but for others, especially Arnav and Khushi it seemed as she was crying bitterly.

Khushi was really devastated from inside to pacify Anjali, but even then she went to her and gave her shoulder.

"Di, please don't cry...If Samaira will encounter this it won't have a good effect on her."

"Khushi, no!" Anjali said as she pulled back from the hug.

"Samaira, should know what kind off person her father is! So that she chooses her life partner carefully!"

"Di...Jiju, didn't reply back!" Khushi said as she too saw the message.

Arnav was astonished to hear that.

When today he had looked at her she didn't seem to angry at him. There was a pain in her voice, and more than anything else there was something else that dominated that he couldn't figure, what it was...

"Yes," Shyam agreed. "I didn't!"

"Khushi, you are too innocent...He could have deleted the message too, Khushi!" Anjali stated as she again burst into crying and hugged Khushi.

Khushi felt a unbearable pain in her chest. She didn't know if it was Anjali's misunderstanding or it was the truth. But it could be wrong too just like she was.

***FLASHBACK***

"Who is Shilpa?" Khushi asked carefully looking at Arnav and change in his expressions.

And her heart thudded in her chest as she saw her fear getting true when she saw a pure fear in his face as the smile immediately faded away.

"Shilpa...She..." Arnav stuttered. "Why are you asking me about her?"

"I asked you who is Shilpa?"

"She was my good college friend...But why?"

Khushi lightly laughed sarcastically. "Nothing else!?" Arnav was looking everywhere else, but at her.

"Nothing," she repeated when Arnav didn't say anything.

She had gotten her answers. He was stealing his gazes. As he was scared to admit something.

"Look, Khushi..."

"What, Arnav ji? Tell me what?" Khushi said and angrily held his shirt collar tightly. "Tell me that you had relationship with her..."

"Khushi no..." he answered in disbelief.

"Please stop lying...Arnav ji,  it must be easy for you to just forget the night that you spent sleeping with the other woman, but you can't hide it!" Khushi angrily blurted out.

"What are you saying, Khushi? For god sake believe me whatever you are thinking is irrelevant!" Arnav said in his defence.

"No, Arnav ji...What I am saying is making sense to you!? You had cheated on a woman and left her pregnant!"

"What if I will be pregnant one day, Arnav ji...would you do the same with me?!" she asked.

"No, Khushi, I love you...Khushi believe me nothing had happened between me and her..."

"Look at this report...Your DNA meets with Shiv, your and your ex-girlfriend Shilpa's son..." She said bitterly. "I hope you knew that!?"

Arnav froze. He couldn't believe the result of the reports...

"Khushi, believe me please..."

"No," she shouted and moved away from as he was going to touch her.

"Arnav ji, I don't need any explanations...Results are in front of me...You have proved me wrong...not only me, but my love wrong too!"

"Arnav ji, I can't live with you. I can't live with the person who had played with a woman life!" Arnav looked at her in shock.

"I have seen that 6 year child of yours and Shilpa...I have seen tears of helplessness in her eyes...I don't know how many more woman would be out there whom you just left..."

Khushi stopped from saying anything else. "It will be good for us if we separate...It's better that we live our lives separately...We will go home together, but I can't live with you under the same roof!"

"Khushi at least listen to me once damn it!!!" Khushi forced her to face him, but she used her full strength to free herself from him.

"Don't touch me...I feel dirty...Do you get that? I FEEL DIRTY!" Khushi said bitterly.

Arnav agreed to her demands. He knew she was angry with him and she needed some time to think calmly...So, he decided to give her that time and space.

"Khushi you will go back home and live at RM...It's your home...You want me to live away from you it's fine...I promise, I will not show you my face ever... [I] until you want," [/] he mumbled as he kept stone on his heart.

Living away from her meant, pain and he was ready to bear the pain until she wanted.

***END OF FLASHBACK***

"Okay, Khushi, you don't believe me I have one more proof that will bring all the truth out..."

"Jhumri..." Anjali called.

Everyone turned their face to the door.

But it was Arnav and Khushi who stilled in their places as they saw the girl.

Anger filled in every sense of Khushi's mind as quickly as tsunami fill it's surroundings, the moment she looked at the girl.

Jhumri too looked at both Arnav Khushi, her legs stilled, her face expressions looked like as she had an encountered with a wild tiger and it was going to attack her.

"Look how good actor she is!" NK praised her.

But he wasn't aware that she wasn't acting, she was scared in real.

"Hope you recognize her?!" Anjali asked Shyam.

"No!" he said quietly laughing.

"Oh gosh she is Shilpa," Nani said as she whispered in Akaash's ear. "And Chote knows her!"

"What?" Akaash said in shock.

"Yes, her grandma had approached me for their marriage, but me and Chote had refused. I knew she wasn't a right girl for Arnav according to what I had heard about her!"

"How do we don't know about it?"

"It wasn't anything that we should have really talked about! But she is here Arnav will catch all of us off guard. I told you guys before, to be careful and do anything such that you have to regret later. Do you have any idea how badly it could effect their already messed relationship?" Nani said angrily as she could imagine the situation getting out of their hands now.

"You still have time do something before everything turn out into a complete mess!"

But by the looks she knew it was too late and the only thing she was now waiting for was to finish of their deliberately done drama to end in an awful way.

"Yes, Jumhri...Can you please tell what relationship do you have with my husband, Shyam?"

Shilpa was too dread to say anything as her lips were tightly sealed together.

"I..."

"What happen now huh...tell?" Akaash said trying to get her to talk.

"Can't you speak now?"

"Akaash, bhai, you didn't tell she is mute!" NK whispered.

This time Akaash didn't bother to say anything.

"I tell you!" Khushi said and everyone looked at her.

She walked towards her, and with every step of her Shilpa's heart pounded deadly.

Sweat had formed on her forehead.

"Jiju, was her college friend..." Khushi started off her voice was calm, but Shilpa could sense an angry storm hidden behind it.

Everyone looked at each other faces in pure shock...Then Akaash remembered the first line that Shilpa was suppose to was exactly that.

"Her grandma, and jiju's grandma were distanced relatives..."

"We are caught?" Anjali mumbled in fear as she bit her nails.

"So, Khushi, knew we were doing drama?" Shyam said as he stared at Khushi.

"Looks like!" she answered back.

"Your grandma wanted you and Shyam jiju get married, right? But Shyam jiju just had only one need and I am sure you know what's that need right?" Khushi asked sarcastically. But controlling her anger that were running wild in her veins.

Khushi turned around to look at Shyam.

"Right jiju you used her?" Khushi asked.

Shyam looked at her in fear and everyone thought they were gone...

Arnav couldn't believe what he was seeing was his imagination or the truth.

"So it means, Khushi does know her truth now!" His heart filled with happiness.

"But I can't even say you have 6 year old son, Shiv...Because you are now pregnant with Shyam jiju's child."

"Right, SHILPA!?" Khushi said coldly.

And Shilpa was just too struck with fear that she felt her mind totally shut.

"I said right, Shilpa!?" Khushi asked this time so loudly that her voice echoed in the whole hall.

"Ye...Yee...Yes," hardly came out of her mind as she trembled in fear.

But the sound that echoed now, was louder than Khushi's shout and the very next thing everybody knew was Shilpa was on floor...Khushi had slapped hard enough to knock sense into her ugly brain.
