On his demand Chapter 51

  1. GRAND CHAPTER 51 PART A

    "Khushi, to the left..."

    "Here!" she said.

"Yes, but little bit more to the left,"
    Payal said.

"Yes, right there! Perfect. Now please be careful, I get crystal strands."

"Bhabi, we have to get it done before Adhwaya gets up. Right now Arnav ji, is sleeping with him. But he too have to for a jogging."

"Yes, but NK and Dhruv will be here with us! Stand still, Khushi."

"Don't worry, bhabi! I am standing carefully on the bench.Did mami, mama ji, called and told when they will be coming?"

"Yes, they will be flying in the afternoon today, and will be here by evening."

    "It's a perfect timing, bhabi!"

"I know dear! Okay, here is the crystal strands. We need them at the French door and then at the entrance."

"Bhabi, they are heavy get them one by one."

"Don't worry dear, I am holding it carefully, you should be careful."

Khushi took stainless steel crystal strands from Payal and she put them one by one at the places they were needed. Payal helped her get down the stool carefully.

    She felt dizzy.

",we are almost done with the decoration. Thank God we finished almost everything last night."

"Yes," she said in a low tone. She sat down on the recliner as she felt extremely tired.

Since 3:00 AM in the morning, she had been working and last night she only had sleep for 3 hours.

"Now all we have to do is start on the food."

"Don't worry about them, I have told Mary what we need to make for the dinner. She will start once she is up."

    Khushi was quite.

"Khushi, what happen?" Payal said and went to her.

"I don't know bhabi. My head hurts."

"Girl, I told you not to stress yourself. You aren't eating properly, and you didn't sleep properly either. Did you eat your medicine last night?"

"It didn't happen before. I did have my medicine last night. Can I get a glass of water?"

"You sit here, I get it for you,"
Payal said and she rushed to the kitchen to fetch a glass of mineral water for Khushi.

As she returned back, Khushi had laid back on the recliner.

"Khushi, here drink water. I call Arnav!"

"Bhabi, no, I am okay. It might be because I slept for only few hours."

"Khushi, everything is almost done, do me a favour, just go and sleep. Now drink water and go to sleep."

Khushi took glass of water from Payal and drank it.

    "Khushi, you should tell Arnav."

"Bhabi, nothing to worry about, I am fine, I guess."

"Khushi, if you feel anything suspicious going on with your body, just tell anyone in the family and most importantly, Arnav."

"Yes, bhabi, I will, this is the first time it has happened."

Payal understood that she recently had miscarriage. Then she was stress over Adhwaya as well.

Payal wiped her sweat on her forehead and helped her to get to her room.

"God knows what's wrong with her?" Payal thought. "Hey, god, my sister has gone through a lot already. Please don't let her happen anything but good. Is she pregnant again?" a thought suddenly came into her mind. She didn't know if she had to be happy or worried. But at the same time she also knew Arnav was aware that they had to be careful since Khushi just recently lost her baby.

They weren't going to take anything for grant now. She decided she will talk to Arnav.

    ***
Khushi fanned her face with her saree pallu as she went to her room. Arnav and Adhwaya were sleeping and it was 6:00 o'clock in the morning. She smiled looking at them. She loved how they both were sleeping. On their stomach and their arms on either side of their head.

Looking at them she forgot she was feeling sick. She went to Adhwaya and laid beside him.

"You know, you are the adorable kid in this world, my baby. And mumma loves you and your daddy."

She said and kissed his forehead.

She let him sleep and then she went to Arnav's side. As she laid beside him, she hugged him.

    "Arnav ji, good morning."

"Good morning; won't my Adhwaya's mumma give his father a morning kiss."

    "So you are up?"

"Yes, your sweet voice is the only thing I have to hear before I get up," he said and wrapped his arms around her.

    "How are you?"

"Perfectly fine," she answered as she didn't want to ruin his morning by telling him she was feeling little sick.

"And happy Mother's Day, from Adhwaya!"

"Thank you so much to my baby boy."

    "Did you just wake up?"

"No, I was up at 3:00 AM. Me and bhabi got decorations done; so that we don't have to waste our time."

"Khushi, we told you we all would have done together. Why you and Payal had to be up?"

    "It's..." she abruptly stopped.

    "Khushi, what's wrong?"

"Nothing. I am fine. I was just saying that we got everything done on time. Today; in the afternoon Nani, mami, mama ji would be leaving to Darjeeling. So we don't have to worry much about."

"That's awesome!" he said and moved her hair back of the ear that were coming in front of her face.

He moved little bit to the side and make way for Khushi to lay properly.

    "Arnav ji, careful, Adhwaya."

"Don't worry, our baby is perfectly fine," he said.

"At least say good morning to him."

    "Good morning, my son."

    Khushi smiled brightly.

"And what about the kiss?" she said.

"No, I am not going to touch his skin. He might get infection. His baby skin is too vulnerable. Also, especially, when I haven't even brush."

"Don't worry, he knows his father doesn't like doing brush!"

"Oh really?!" he said and went top of her.

"Arnav ji, what are you doing?" she said and giggled.

"Well I am gonna kiss you."

"Arnav ji, not like this. Go and brush your teeth."

"I brush twice a day. And I brushed last night."

"But still!" she joked to him.

"You are definitely getting punishment for teasing me," he said. But without warning slammed his lips on hers. He held both her hand tightly so that she doesn't try to push him away.

She giggled but as Arnav's hard shaft touched her stomach, she couldn't help but let out a throaty moan.

Plus he knew the art to kiss her.

As he released her hands she brought in his hair. She fisted his hair welcoming the shower of kisses.

Slowly he moved down, he kissed along the neck line.

She cried at his sudden touch.

"Khushi, don't make any noise, Adhwaya will be up!" he warned her.

"Arnav ji, why don't you stop this torture then?" she pleaded.

"Not easily, after so long, I have gotten a chance."

He suckled hard on her skin leaving his beautiful art work behind as he movies further down. He opened the front buttons of her blouse.

"Arnav ji, we can't do this. Everyone is up. And it's time for Adhwaya to be up as well..."

    Arnav bit her hard pebbles.

"Were you saying something?" he asked and continued with his torture.

    "Aaah!" she cried.

She tried to suppress her moans as she was afraid she will wake Adhwaya.

Arnav continued to suck, bit, mould her bosoms. And Khushi was in a different world. She forgot the sense of time.

To suppress her moans she bit her lips and fisted the pillow tightly. Arnav stopped to completely remove her blouse. But he didn't.

And he continued to devour her. He trailed back on the track where he ended back to where he started.

As they were now looking into each other's eyes.

"I know I am leaving you hanging in between. But I promise, tonight I will fulfill your every need," he muttered softly.

She smiled and respected his decision. He helped her put the blouse back on.

"I hope you didn't mind it, Khushi."

She shook her head. "It was perfect."

"I am glad!" he said. And laid beside her.

"What's so special about tonight?" she asked.

"Well, today is a Mother's Day."

    "Uh...huh."

"And my Adhwaya's mom need a special treatment."

Khushi smiled as she bit her lower lip.

"I can't wait for that!" she answered shying. She circled her arms around his shoulder.

"Since, yesterday, Adhwaya had been really tired. We shouldn't disturb his sleep."

    "Yes!"

Before it was just about him and Khushi, however, they had Adhwaya now in their lives. Whom they kept before their own needs. That's what they enjoyed the most important thing in parenting.

    ***
Everyone were rushing back and forth as it was almost evening and all they had was an hour to prepare for Khushi's and Arnav's surprise. Since; Nani; mami, and mama ji would arrive from Mumbai as well somehow they had sent both of them and Adhwaya to the airport to receive their elders.

"DJ is all ready!" NK said.

    "Perfect!" Dhruv said.

"Akaash, NK, and Dhruv, please now help me in the decoration for Khushi, Arnav; and Adhwaya."

    "Yes, bhabi, we are coming."

"Where is the picture frame of Arnav bhai, Khushi and Adhwaya?" Akaash said.

"Here it is Akaash bhai!" Dhruv said.

    "Okay; you already packed it?"

"Yes, we spent like two hours on it."

"I can see that!" Akaash said.

"Oh my goodness, how we will finish all this in time."

"We are not even ready yet!" Dhruv complained.

"I know. Arnav bhai and Khushi left for an airport right on time and before that we didn't get time to prepare for their surprise party," Payal said.

"Payal, don't worry; we still had 45 minutes. They are enough. Under ten minutes we all will be ready."

"I need more than that," Payal said.

"Okay, you just check if gifts that we have bought for everyone is there. Especially, Adhwaya's."

    "Oh yes, I see that."

"Yes, check them until then we will will be done with the decorations. It's not much left anyways."

    "Thank you, Akaash."

"Wait; where are the kids? Are they ready yet?"

"Don't worry about them, Mary has made sure they are ready!"

"Just to let you guys know we got only 30 minutes left."

"Okay, decoration is done!" NK and Dhruv said in a unison.

    "Perfect."

"Payal, now you go and get ready."

Payal looked around just to make sure everything was to the point perfect. And she was proud that it was all ready. She was happy with the finishing product.

"NK, Dhruv, make sure you don't forget to switch off the lights when they all arrive."

    "Defiantly!"

"Okay; you guys go and get ready. We got only fifteen minutes now!"

"Ten minutes all we ask for!" NK and Dhruv said.

"Yes, I shall be ready too in ten minutes," Akaash said.

    ***
Payal, Akaash, NK, Dhruv, Gavy, and Adi stood in the dark all ready...As they heard cars stopping and low murmurs.

There was a pin drop silence.

Khushi and Arnav wondered if everything was perfectly ready.

"Why is so dark here?" Mama ji said.

"We don't know!" Arnav and Khushi said.

"Let's get inside and see!" Mami ji said.

"Sasu ma, please step carefully," mami ji said to Nani ji.

"Khushi, careful, give Adhwaya to me."

"Yes; please hold him, I am wearing these heel too, it's hard for me to walk in them."

"Now Adhwaya would go to his daddy, haina?"

Arnav held carefully and securely Adhwaya in his arms.

Nani, mami, mama ji, saw them in awe.

"They should have left one light on at least!" Arnav muttered under his breath.

    "It's okay, Arnav ji!"

They all stood at the door. Arnav and Khushi let their elders to go first as the surprise party was for them. They knocked on the door as they thought there was a short circuit.

But the door opened on it's own as Mama ji tried to knock on it.

"Akaash babua, Payal bitiya, Nanhe, Dhruv, where are you kids?"

"Adi, Gavy! Look dadi is here!" Mami ji said.

    No body answered.

    "Arnav babua, where are they?"

Before Arnav could say anything, Akaash, Payal, Dhruv, NK, and Gavy and Adi screamed.

    "Happy Mother's Day!"

Arnav held Adhwaya protectively so that their screams doesn't scare him. So did Khushi kept hand on him. But to their surprise their son was okay. As they both looked around they saw additional decorations.

It was for them. It read "Congratulations to the proud parents on the arrival of their little baby boy, Adhwaya."

They now understood why they sent both of them to receive mama, mami ji and Nani from the airport.

Khushi had tears of happiness and this for sure she wasn't expecting.

On his demand Chapter 50

Chapter 50

"Good morning, my beautiful wife!" Arnav said as he embraced her in his arms tightly and gave her small peck on her cheek. He felt peacefully blessed and for him it was the best thing in the world being this close to Khushi. His heart was swelled in pride.

"Good morning, Arnav ji!" Khushi softly muttered and she yawned loudly.

"A very good morning...How are you feeling?"

"Out of the world in the arms of my Arnav ji and with the presence of our son, Adhwaya. By the way, how is Adhwaya? And where is he?" she asked getting startled as she got fidgety.

"Relax, Khushi, he is downstairs with the family, he was up early. So I took him outside and everyone insisted if I leave him with them."

"Oh..." she said and she relaxed, her heartbeat was back to normal, "Did you check his fever? How was he?"

"Yes, I did. His temperature is gone."
"What's the time?"

"9:00 AM!"

"9:00 AM?" Khushi shouted shocked, she sat up on the bed and tied her hair in a bun.

"Arnav ji, we were suppose to leave by 12:30 PM to a airport. And you didn't wake me up. I told you to set an alarm for 6:00 AM. And you didn't."

Arnav pulled her back and made her lay back on the bed. "Khushi, relax. We have 3 hours. And our packing is already done," he said calmly. "Even our bag packs are in the car," he ended his sentence in a low tone and aligned his lips on Khushi's lips and gave her a deep peck.

"It's okay, you needed rest. Remember you slept at 2:00 AM after packing and feeding Adhwaya? You did your job and I did mine.

"Now, just get up, take a shower, and I am waiting for you here, then we shall go downstairs, breakfast is ready."

Khushi smiled brightly and it was something Arnav always missed seeing on Khushi's face. Arnav kissed her once again, more deeply than before.

"I will be downstairs in just 10 minutes you go."

"No, you don't have to rush. Take your good time. I am waiting for you.

"Okay?"
"Okay!"

***
"Good morning, Bhabi!" NK and Dhruv sang.

Khushi giggled and wished them, "Good morning," and to the family members. She took the blessings of elders.

"What they are up to?" Arnav asked Akaash.

"A special treatment to their sister-in-law!"

"Oh!"

"Bhabi, please have a seat," NK and Dhruv said in unison.

Khushi couldn't help, but again giggle as both NK and Dhruv pulled chair out for her.

"Yes, yes, sit down Khushi bitiya. Your brother-in-laws will be in your service, 24 hour," Nani said.

Khushi laughed.

"Thank you, brother-in-laws."

"Bhabi, please tell us what would you like to have? We would serve you!"

"Yes, bhabi!" Dhruv said.

"It's okay, I will have it..."

"No..." NK said melodramatically, "We are here for you!" and he bowed.

"Nautanki!" Arnav muttered. Akaash chuckled.

"Okay, I will, whatever you will put in my plate!"

"Sure, bhabi," Dhruv said, "here is, a butter toast."

"Here is a glass of orange juice!" NK said.

Raizada family looked at each other and were softly laughing.

"Here is a fruit salad!" Dhruv said and put a cup of bowl in front of Khushi.

"Bhabi, here is a cereal bowl for you."

"Bhabi, here is a chocolate bread, I baked for you," Dhruv said.

"Oh...Hello," NK said as he patted Dhruv's shoulder.

"Excuse me, I helped you in that too!"

"Oh really, helped me in what? Tasting it?"

Khushi giggled.

"Bhabi, he didn't help me in anything."

"Bhabi, he is a lier. I did help him."

"Whatever, bhabi! Taste it and tell me how is the bread?"

NK puffed and looked angrily at him.

"Bhabi, here is a aloo parantha, bhua ji, said you love it."

Khushi looked at the parantha and then at NK.

It was all burnt. "Bhabi, it was my first try."

"NK, are you sure, she will eat that?" Dhruv asked and he looked displeased.

"Why? What's wrong in that?"

"You would eat it, bhabi, right?"

Khushi looked at everyone and stayed tight lipped.

"Yes, I will," she later answered to make him feel better.

"No, bhabi, if you will eat it you will get sick."

"No, she would get sick after eating your this stupid brownie."

"It's a chocolate bread. See bhabi he doesn't even know what I have baked and he said he helped me."

"Whatever...Bhabi, you tell him you are going to eat this parantha!"

"Yes, I will."

"See, she would," NK said and showed him thumbs down.

"Could you please stop fighting?"

"Arnav ji," Khushi said gesturing she would handle them.

"First of all, it's too much to eat NK, and Dhruv. I cannot eat all this. But since, you have put lot of hard word getting all this ready, I will eat it."

"Bhabi, try mine first!" Dhruv said.

"No, mine first, bhabi," NK huffed.

"Try this orange juice."

"No, bhabi, fruit salad first!" Dhruv said as he took a glass of orange juice."

NK snatched it from him and handed a glass of milk to her. "Bhabi, it's more healthier for you."

"Could you both please stop?" Mama ji yelled.

"Dhruv stop right now!" Arnav said sternly.

"Bhai, why you only stop me. Ask this nuisance NK."

"Here give me the glass of juice," Khushi said.

When everyone was silent, Adhwaya giggled and everyone else at the breakfast table laughed.

"Look, he observes you really closely, NK and Dhruv. I am pretty sure you guys don't want your nephew to be stubborn."

"No, bhabi, not at all."

"Okay, both of you give me the glasses of milk and juice then."

Both of them looked at each other angrily and gave the glasses to Khushi.

"Guys, I seriously don't eat this much."

"But bhabi, bhai said you eat a lot," NK said.

"Haww!" Khushi said.

And everyone else was shocked to hear that.

"What the? No, Khushi, I didn't say that. I said was you love food.

"Didn't I say that, NK?" Arnav gritted his teeth.

"Arnav ji, don't try to scare him," Khushi said and she was about to cry.

"No, Khushi, I am not try to scare him. He is lying."

"Arnav ji, I can't believe you said I eat lot of food."

"Chote, I didn't expect this from you," Mami ji said.

"Arnav, this is what you think of my sweet little sister?"

"Oh stop this melodrama all of you."

Khushi was on verge to cry, and seeing her Adhwaya too was going to cry.

"Look, look, Khushi, please don't cry, please listen up. Look at Adhwaya, he is going to cry too.

"You duffer tell her that bhai didn't say she eats a lot."

"I am sorry, bhabi. Yes, I think he did say that. He did mean to say that you love food. But definitely not you eat a lot."

"See, I didn't mean you eat a lot. But, hey, that's a compliment for every woman, especially, for you. You don't put on a weight."

"Even if I eat a lot?"

"No!" Arnav said. "Please, Khushi, smile. Look Adhwaya is sad."

"I am not crying."

"Yes, please, bhabi!" NK said.

"Bhai, bhabi, you see what am I gonna do with him now," Dhruv said.

"You just wait up!" Dhruv said and ran after NK.

"These kids!" Mami ji said.

Khushi giggled as Dhruv held NK from behind and dropped him on the floor.

"Look how your chachus are fighting!" Mami said.

Adhwaya laughed seeing both of them.

"Promise you would think first before saying anything!" Dhruv said. He was sitting on top of NK and had fisted collars of his jacket in his hands.

"I would bro, please forgive me! Bhabi please tell him to stop beating him."

"Adhwaya, what should be do? Shall we ask Dhruv chachu to stop beating NK chachu?"

Adhwaya laughed.

"Looks like he is enjoying there fight," mama ji said.

"Dhruv, don't leave him," Payal said.

"Kids, you just eat and let them fight," Nani said.

"Khushi, bitiya, it's your choice what you want to eat! A burnt paranthas or chocolate bread," Nani said and everyone laughed.

"I think now I have to eat all now!" Khushi said and chuckled.

"Awesome," mama ji said.

***
"Stop, Dhruv, look they are eating food and here you are beating me up."

"In fact they are done!" NK added. They both stood up.

"Hello, what's this, where are you all going?" NK said.

"What? We all are done with our breakfast and it's almost 11:00 AM. We guys shall leave for airport!" Akaash said, "Right, bhai?"

"Exactly!" Arnav said.

"What the? We aren't even done with our breakfast."

"It's okay, you can catch another flight," Payal said.

"Yes!" Khushi said.

"Khushi, bhabi, you too?"

"What? Guys, I have to go and see if I need to pack anything else for Adhwaya!" Khushi said and left. Along with her Arnav.

"Yes, ma, dad, we see if Gavy and Adi are ready!" Akaash and Payal said and they left too.

"See, how mean they are?" NK and Dhruv said.

"Nani, did you see?"

"What?"

"What do you mean, what? We were fighting and you guys were eating breakfast."

"Oh, didn't we tell you to stop fighting?" Mama ji said.

"We are really sorry!" Nani said.

"Let's go, Adhwaya, we are gonna get you ready for the trip," mami said.

And they all three were gone too.

"I was telling you to not to fight," NK said.

"Now you stop fighting, finish your breakfast, we don't have kids to look after so by the time they will be in their cars we will be done and already be at the airport before them," Dhruv said and gave high five to NK.

***
"Arnav ji, do you remember if I have kept your shaving tools?"

Arnav looked at Khushi as she was freaking out if she had kept everything that they would need.

"Khushi, RELAX. You kept towels, night suits, my shaving kit, your make up kit...everything. Even if you didn't, we have everything at our farmhouse. And yes, we have packed everything for Adhwaya too. His warm clothes, his wipes, his bib, his diapers, his shoes, his hats, caps, his blankets, and his medicines everything.

"And if that doesn't help, how about this?" Arnav said and hugged her tightly. Khushi hugged him back and closed her eyes.

"Thank you, Arnav ji, I needed it a lot."

"I know!"

"Okay, let's go we are getting late!" and they went downstairs.

"Arnav ji, we have to get milk for Adhwaya too!"

"Don't you worry, bitiya, here is a water, and milk bottle for Adhwaya," Nani said.

"And here is Adhwaya!" Mami ji said and handed Adhwaya to Khushi. She felt unknown happiness holding Adhwaya in her arms. And kissed him.

"Awww, he looks so cute in this velvet tunic," Khushi said. "Grandma got you ready, my baby!" Khushi said and held him in her arms securely.

"He is still to light!" she added sadly.

"Khushi, bitiya, he would be fine. Babies are usually light. It's okay, you don't know Akaash was even lighter than him," mama ji assured.

"Now you guys go carefree. We shall be at farmhouse in a day or two."

"You guys will be missed, Nani!" Arnav said.

"It will be hard for us to spend these two days without you guys. But we shall try to come as soon as possible."

"Please do call us and we shall come to receive you from the airport," Arnav said.

"Don't worry!" Mama ji reassured.

***
"Bhai, see you at the airport," Akaash said.

"Sure, Akaash, make sure kids seat belts are fastened!"

"Yes, bhai. And you guys have Adhwaya's seat right?"

"Yes, we do. And by the way, where is notorious guys?" Arnav asked. "I can't even see him," he just had said and his phone rang.

"Dhruv's phone?" Arnav wondered. "Hello!"

"Hello bhai, where you guys are?"

"That's what I want to know where you guys are? We are waiting for you at the airport."

"At the airport? You guys have already reached there."

"Of course!" Dhruv said.

"Alright, see you guys at the airport then," Arnav said and hung up the phone.

"Are they already at the airport?"

Arnav was shaking his head in disbelief. "Yes, they are."

"I am sure they would have been trying to revenge on us," Payal said as she got out of the RM.

"Here you are, Payal. Let's go bhai!"

"Sure!"

Arnav and Akaash sat in their cars with their wives and kids. Their drivers took them to the airport.

***
Darjeeling!

***Finally! Phew! LOL!***

"Arnav ji, are we in a dreamland?"

"It's a dreamland, but it's nothing in front of what you are going to see, Khushi.

"And yes, it's a place where we have spent our most of our childhood. Surely, you have heard the stories."

"Yes, I have!" Khushi said giggling.

"I have never been to this place, in fact, never gotten a chance to."

"Because of your fear of planes!"

"Yes!" Khushi admitted. "But just didn't get a chance."

"And Khushi, how is that?"

"Oh my...It's beautiful."

"But not more than you!" Arnav commented.

"Not more than you either."

"I take that compliment."

Khushi giggled and rolled her eyes jokingly.

"Oh my god, it's truly a heaven, Arnav ji, we waited for this trip for so long and I must say it was worth waiting."

"Uh-huh!"

"Can I click picture of it?"

"Go ahead!"

Driver stopped car on Arnav's request and Khushi clicked the picture from her camera.

"Arnav ji, thank you for this!"

"You deserve it, Khushi."

On their way Khushi took few other pictures along with her and Arnav's Adhwaya.

"Weather here changes so quickly!"

"Yup! You see as we would approach our farmhouse on our way we would see clear weather as this as well as rain. Weather is quite unpredictable. It snows here once in a while."

"Arnav ji, shall we visit that lake?"

"We have good 2 weeks to visit all the places you want to visit and the places that I want you to see with me."

"And Arnav ji, it snows here as well?"

"Yes, but mostly during the winter time."

"Oh!"

"But we can go to Shimla if you want to see a snow."

"Can we please?"

"Of course!"

"Thank you!"

***
As they approached to their farmhouse Khushi clicked various pictures and enjoyed the beautiful weather of Darjeeling and it's scenery.

"Bhai, where are you guys? We have reached the farmhouse."

"Yes, we are here too," Arnav said.

***Their Farmhouse!***

                            ...To be continued!!!

On his demand Chapter 49

CHAPTER 49

Arnav sat beside Khushi. He didn't know the situation would be this out of hand that it will attack Khushi physically, but no, not just physically. It had affected her mentally and as well as emotionally.

He dabbed cold towel on her forehead. Usually, it would help to bring the temperature of the body down, however, to Khushi, it did no good. Her body was trembling with fever as well as fear. Even in her sleep her mind was only thinking of Adwaya.

Same bad dreams she had where Adwaya is hurt but like her first dream she couldn't help him. He was neither hurt nor saved by her.
She was trying to struggle mentally in her dreams, however, in real she couldn't do anything.

Payal softly knocked on their room door.

"Arnav, Karan want to see you," she whispered.

"Yes," he said.

He looked at Khushi with concern. He didn't want to leave her alone, but a talk with Karan was really important. Payal looked at him and said, "Don't you worry. I look after her."

"Thank you, Payal. And I might have to go out, just take care of Khushi. If it wasn't important I wouldn't have left her alone in this condition."

"Arnav, relax. I totally understand. She is my responsibility too. And whole family is there to take care of her so without any regret you go."

"Thank you so much, Payal."

"You are welcome and do not worry about her."

Arnav nodded and looked at Khushi for a brief amount of time before leaving.
***

"Karan, is everything ready?"

"Yes, Arnav, as we had decided."

"I don't want to waste single amount of time," he said.

"I know. I have heard Khushi is really sick," Karan consoled.

"She is and this is all because of this delay. Karan, I was telling you her instincts can't be wrong. Even before she told me mine and our baby's life was in dangerous. That time we all were late, but this time I don't want anything wrong happen to Adwaya."

"Don't worry, Arnav. Akaash, Dhruv, and NK are already there. I told them they didn't have to be there, but they insisted and I had to let them. But don't worry they will be safe."

"Is the security with them?"

"Yes, they are there and even you won't be able to recognize them. They are in the different getup."

"Perfect."

Arnav and Karan sat in Karan's police car and drove to the place where Adwaya and other children were kept.

"Yes, Arnav. That's where the risk is involved. But there are no criminal is alone in the house as for now. Our police officers are in there dressed in their dress code."

"It has to be fool proof plan, Karan."

"It is a fool proof plan, Arnav. If everything went well, you can even adopt Adwaya. In fact he will have his own parents."

Arnav felt the pain but at the same time a fresh happiness in his heart that he couldn't describe in words.

"That's you and Khushi, Arnav," Karan completed his sentence.

"Yes."

"Arnav, but that worst part is there are some kids in their who had their parents. But they were killed just so that these criminals could get their babies and their parents don't complain about them and some of the kids are stolen from the hospitals or even from their homes. And some are orphans like Adhwaya since, childhood."

"I think Adhwaya is lucky for all of them, at least because of him those criminals will be caught."

"Yes, you are right, Arnav."

"How did you really come to know that they aren't his parents."

"Arnav, I got a call from a man. He told me his name was Krishna. He didn't tell me his last name. But he told me that the baby that was just taken from the RM weren't taken by his real parents. I wondered how did he knew. He told me that he work at the orphanage. And Adwaya was at that orphanage since his mother died right giving birth to him and his father died in an accident. I was shocked. I wanted to tell you at that moment but I wanted to be 100% sure. I made the photo copy of the documents that fake parents of Adwaya gave me as a proof that they were his parents. And to double check I went to the hospital that Adwaya's fake parents told me, there I found that there wasn't any kid named, Vishal Roy, and if there was any they were born in the year 2012. Later, I went to the hospital, Fortis. That guy told me and even he told me that Adwaya's real name is Adhaan Singh. And in actual he is 6 month old. He was born on 1st December 2013. And hospital had him in the records. They told me what that guy, Krishna told me.

"And after all the conformations today I called you and asked you to come so we shall have a talk. While, investigators and the police was set to complete the mission safe and sound.

"I also came back home to tell Khushi that we will get Adwaya. But she was so sick to know that. However, if I will tell her now she will be so happy. And also, just in the morning I told her that he can't he ours, but the truth was something else."

"Yes," Karan said.

***
"All ready?" Karan said to his police officers.

"Yes sire."

"So what to wait for?"

"Sir, we are just waiting for those goons. They will leave from there in the next 20 minutes for their dinner and leaving alone our security team. And in only 10 minutes they will be back so, we have only those 10 minutes to act. Commandos in the house are making every move safe for us and for the children. We have to make sure they don't get hurt," Inspector said as they hid behind the trees so that aren't seen.

"Sir, it's all clear," one of the commando who was already in the house said. "You may all come. Our half of the commandos are in the dinner room with other guards. There they all will surrender."

"Are you sure it's all our commandos there at the moment?"

"Yes sir. I am 100% sure. And other half of our commandos are with the kids. Sir 12 minutes to the max all we got."

Karan and his team waited for nothing else. Arnav insisted he would go inside but Karan asked him to stay outside. "Arnav, I promise not a single baby will get hurt."

"Please do get all of them out safe."

"Don't you worry, Arnav."

In the next 3 seconds Karan and his whole team had completely left. All of them climbed up the huge walls and shortly joined other commandos. And they proceeded into the home.

Where other half of the police officers were on guard of the kids in the dress code of the goons. They all unmasked their faces when Karan and his team joined in to show them they were on their side. From the back door of the house they took all the kids out. There weren't more than 4 toddlers however there were kids of ages between 7-10. They all had the hope that they all will be safe for now.

It didn't take more than 10 minutes. And by the time the goons were ready to come of the dinner room the commandos that were present there took out their arms and all the goons had to surrender.

Police vans took all the kids mostly there were boys to the hospital and along with the toddlers. Except one, Adwaya.

Because Karan had taken him so that he could directly take him to Arnav.

Arnav's eyes twinkled with happiness, his heartbeat picked up the race against his body in an anticipation if it really was Adwaya.
Karan had protectively held him in his arms.

"Arnav, your Adwaya," Karan said.

Arnav couldn't describe what it really meant to him when Karan said "your Adwaya." And his prayers really came promising, those ten minutes were without any problem.

Karan carefully handed Adwaya in Arnav's arms. Arnav still was really scared to have him in his arms, but he was surprised in quick seconds he had made himself strong enough so that he could carry him.

He imagined how Khushi held him. He put his one hand under his neck and the other under his back. Tears glistened that had made their way down his eyes. But more than anything his eyes twinkled. Adwaya was sleeping. Adhaan.

"Arnav, every kid is sent to the hospital and they all are going under the examination just to check they haven't gone to any ill treatment. But Arnav there were more boys that were between the age 7-10. And hardly 4 toddlers."

"Are they all safe?" he asked, his voice was broken.

"Yes, Arnav they all are. Now you should go home."

"Where is Akaash, NK, and Dhruv?"

"They all were here but they all went to the hospital to look after every other kids. And you don't worry they will be fine. Now let's go."

"Let's go to the hospital before we take him home I really want to see if he is completely fine. And Karan please make sure all those goons and their owners get the worst punishment."

"Worst punishment, Arnav. They all will get it. Just let's go now. This place is really not safe."

When Arnav took Adwaya to his car and under the light from the dark place, he saw Adwaya was way too weak. He looked way to sick. In happiness he hadn't realized change in his weight either. He was lighter than first he had him in his arms. A day had lot of affect on him. And to top everything he was sick.

He immediately took him to the children hospital.

There doctor did his check up for complete three hours.

When he came out of the ward Arnav immediately rushed to him and asked, "Doctor, how is Adwaya?" He told Arnav that "he hadn't been fed anything for the past 24 due to that he is sick."

"But he will be fine, right?"

"He will be fine, Mr. Raizada."

"Shall I take home. My wife will take care of him. I know after seeing her he will be fine."

Doctor looked at Karan. "Yes, doctor. Adwaya will completely be fine. Mrs. Raizada can even feed him."

"If it is possible, I will suggest you to take him home immediately. Only a motherly love can keep him safe."

"Doctor, what about other kids?"

"Fortunately, they all are fine, Mr. Raizada. No harm is really done. Expect few of them are under malnutritioned."

"Don't you worry about that I have called the hotels they will be here with the healthy food any moment," Arnav said.

"That will be great. Good luck with Adwaya," Doctor said.

"Thank you."

"Arnav, your security is here take Adwaya home. I will send one of the nurse to look after Adwaya in case he needs it. But I don't think it will be really needed. Khushi and you is all he really needed to be perfectly fine."

"Thank you so much, Karan. I really don't know how to thank you."

"Arnav, thanks to that man, Krishna who gave me information on time. And they say, "Jako Rakhe Saiyan, Maar Sake Na Koi." (If God wants to save somebody, then nobody can kill him.)

"One more thing, Karan, I do believe there are kids that are already been smuggled. Can you please do more research and free all of them? And the kids who don't have parents will stay at our orphanage homes. And I will make sure they get the best education, shelter and food."

"Arnav, I have no doubt on that. Don't worry. Once we catch the owner of this illegal trading and child abuse we will find other children too. And yes, they all will stay at your orphanage. Akaash, NK, and Dhruv are home now. You go too. Khushi needs you and Adwaya."

Arnav immediately hugged him. Karan smiled and hugged him back.

"Everything is fine, Arnav."

Arnav broke the hug and he had big smile on his face.

"Also, save the thank you," Karan said. "Because tomorrow before you leave to your farmhouse I have another surprise for you."

"Alright, I will wait for it."

Karan smiled.

***
Whole family rejoiced when they saw Adwaya. They literally rushed to him. Adwaya was now awake, but he still looked sick.

"Go and take Adwaya immediately to Khushi, chote. Since, she has been up she is only asking about you. I am sure when she will see you and Adwaya, her fever will just go away."

Arnav quickly took Adwaya to Khushi, and making her wait not for any more second.

He was so happy that he thought it will jump out of his throat in excitement. He could imagine Khushi and her tears of happiness. Despite of her sickness.

Arnav so slowly went into the room that Khushi couldn't tell if he had come into the room. She had her eyes closed but she wasn't sleeping.

Khushi was hiccuping as she just had another crying session.

Arnav put Adwaya to her right.

But all of sudden when Arnav's cologne's smell hit her nose, her eyes flew opened and whom she finds beside herself, Adwaya.

Her heart skipped a beat, in utter confused state she didn't know what to do. But before that she wanted to know if Adwaya, was beside her it wasn't just her dream.

She looked at Arnav he was grimacing. But he eyed her, captured all her emotions. Pain, shock, confusion, happiness that came right from the heart.

"Am I dreaming?" She asked, so scared to look to her right. Scared of the fact if she will look again for Adwaya, she no longer find him there.

Her breath was hitched in her throat. And at the same time a tight ball of congestion formed in her chest.

"You aren't dreaming, Khushi," Arnav said softly.

She took a sharp intake of breath. And looked to her right and Adwaya was still there.

He was looking at his mother. Waiting for her to pick him up in his arms. When Khushi herself was too numb to accept in fact it wasn't a dream. He was confused why she wasn't picking him up. His lips pouted and quivered and he started crying. That's when she knew it wasn't a dream it was the reality.

"He? Is his parents have come too?" she asked.

Arnav felt the sheer disappointment in her tone.

However, she didn't wait for him to even answer her. She embraced him in his arms and cried. Even more than she had since he had left. Her cries cut Arnav's heart into pieces. It was sinking his heart in the sea of pain. But he knew she needed to take it out. And more than cries it was a satisfaction to her that Adwaya was completely fine and in front of her eyes.

He himself was at peace because at least one promise of bringing Adwaya safe and sound in front of her was fulfilled.

Due to the continuous failures after a long time he was successful in bringing the happiness on the face of his Khushi.

Khushi had hugged Adwaya tightly in her arms. She once again was kissing him. It was her heart that was dancing in joy. Arnav was sure if he would tell that he is now their son for forever, there would be no place in her heart to contain that happiness.

"I missed you, mera bacha, Khushi auntie missed you," she cried.

"Mummy, Khushi!" Arnav corrected. She instantly looked at him in disbelief and bewilderment.

"Khushi, Adwaya is yours and mine for forever now. He will be staying with us for forever. As our son."

She placed Adwaya back on the bed when his cries were stopped and herself immediately got out of the bed and held Arnav's collar. "You are lying, Arnav ji. Aren't you? You are saying this because I am sick. To make you feel better you are saying...Please just don't give me false hopes, please!"

"No, Khushi, I am not giving you a false hopes, Adwaya is here to stay for forever."

Before he had a chance to tell her the whole story she collapsed. For the first time not because of the tension or stress or even due to sickness but due to shock of elation.

Also, for the first time Arnav wasn't afraid either thinking what might be the reason of her illness. Or if she was fine.

He thought he had just overwhelmed her and more than she could even take.

He laid her back on the bed. As Adwaya looked at her and him.

"She is fine, my son," he said. "Your mother is fine as you are here."

Ask a man who got an unknown happiness to be called a child, a son. In this world the things that are precious are never earned easily. So neither did Arnav and Khushi. They had lost their own baby but got one in the form of Adwaya. Arnav wouldn't have been more thankful.

In actual he never complaint as he knew whatever happened in the past few months was all written in their fates and it was ought to happened.

Howbeit, still they were afraid. Afraid because yet they weren't too used to happiness. Their life was and had always been unpredictable.

He at once paused the thought of negativity in his mind.

In few minutes, Khushi regained her consciousness. For a brief amount of time, she feared it was her dream nonetheless, she found Adwaya still beside her, peacefully sleeping.

"He..."

"Khushi, no I wasn't lying to you when I said Adwaya is ours now."

"How?"

"Khushi, people who came to get Adwaya weren't his really parents.

Sudden angst seeped in Khushi's heart. She was all of sudden bustling. As she looked at Adwaya and then at Arnav, "Is he hurt?" Arnav cupped her face. "Nothing to worry about, Khushi. Nothing to worry about."

"I tell you everything. Today, in the morning when I left home, Karan called me and told me that Adwaya wasn't safe as he was taken up by not his real parents.

"Khushi, they were the criminals. They smuggled children to other countries for illegal purposes, mostly small kids that were underage."

Khushi's heart thumped harder against her chest.

"And Adwaya was one of them. The day before you rescued him from the mall, he was abducted from the orphanage home."

Arnav could feel she was afraid if Adwaya was hurt in any way.

"There is a child care home in the remorse area of east side of the Mumbai where those children are kept and later on sold to the people. And there is a large group of gang who is currently running this illegal work. So yesterday, Karan came to know about as he got a call from a person, Krishna and told him that Adwaya was taken up by the fake parents. And then Karan took a step forward and with the help of the team of commandos and the police force they freed around 50-60 children. Now they are going through the medical check ups and later they will be staying at our orphanage home. I will make sure they get proper education and shelter and food.

"Khushi, to end your worries, Adwaya is perfectly fine. But he wasn't fed since he left from here."

Khushi looked at Adwaya as once again raw pain shattered her peace of mind.

"Doctor has done his proper check up and concluded that he would be fine soon."

"Arnav ji, how are you? Please tell me you aren't hurt."

"No, Khushi, I am not hurt. I hardly had to be involved in it. Karan and the police force did everything."

"And those criminals won't hurt you or Adwaya right?"

"No, Khushi. They won't. Karan had made sure none of us actually became part of it. It would solely be police matter. And our son and our family wouldn't be hurt."

"Our son?!"

"Yes, Khushi. I will be asking my lawyer to prepare adoption papers as soon as possible."

"So it means he doesn't have parents?"

"No, Khushi. He doesn't. And his actually name is Adhaan Singh."

"Adhaan Singh!" she repeated.

"Yes! And we will call him Adwaya as well as Adhaan."

As Khushi was updated with every information, now she was completely relieved and her heart was at rest. She was a mother.

"Congratulations Khushi. I would really say you are in actual his mom. Even though he wasn't in your womb for nine months, but mother is the one who give a birth to life. And so did you. You, rescued him and gave him the life."

Khushi smiled through tears. But still she didn't know why but felt like crying. As she laid she hugged her husband. Arnav tightly wrapped his arms around her. And tears that he was trying not to shed escapade his eyes, he let his tears stream freely. Without bothering that it would hurt his Khushi. Because those tears were of happiness.

***
As soon as Adwaya opened his eyes, after sleeping for three hours, Khushi fed him. She was reliving the motherhood and from now on wards she wanted to capture every little moment she would spend with him. Afterall, he was her, correction their first child. Arnav was sitting just beside Khushi and Khushi's head rested on her shoulder, he had wrapped his arms around her and watched his baby as he was hungrily drinking milk.

Once again toys that were set aside were on the bed for their son to play with.

"Arnav ji, so whole day you were with Karan?"

"Yes, I was Khushi. He actually called me around 12:30 PM. Then I told at the office that to cancel all the meetings and tell that I was out of town. I had told you about Adwaya, but you weren't in the condition.

"Tell me were you mad at me for my morning behaviour? I am sorry, I didn't mean to say all that. But that point if I knew I was wrong about Adwaya I wouldn't have said that."

"Arnav ji, you don't have to justify your actions. I wasn't actually mad at you, but at myself. I mix all my emotions up and hurt you. I should be sorry for hurting you."

"It's alright, Khushi. Let's just forget everything. Our Adwaya is with us and nothing else we want."

She nodded her head. "He looks really tired and weak," she murmured.

"Don't you worry, since he is with us we will make sure he is healthy again."

She once again nodded her head as she caressed Adwaya's head.

"Arnav ji, can you take care of him. I don't want him to catch the cold from me."

"Sure, and I don't think he will be up now. He needs lots of sleep. Tomorrow before we leave we have to do little bit of more shopping. We have to get his baby seat and few of the clothes."

"I will go too."

"Sure you may! But please be better as soon as possible."

"I am perfectly fine, Arnav ji. My bacha and my husband is with me. I am perfectly fine."

"I can tell," Arnav said and grimaced.

***
Adwaya was in his little baby bed that was at one side of the corner of the bed. And Arnav and Khushi both were laying at the one corner. Arnav was just staring at Khushi as she peacefully slept in his arms and her hand rested on Adwaya's chest.

His lips curled into a big smile when he looked at Khushi and Adwaya. They both were sleeping but had a little smile on their faces. Was it a coincidence or the natural bond they shared?!

His eyes twinkled and he was so relaxed as he had worries of nothing today.

He was the bird and he was flying high in the sky from one place to another.

Never ever he felt such a feeling. He touched the wood and prayed that their happiness was always there to stay. Enough bad they had gone through and not more they would tolerate.

In a way, he could actually tell Adwaya was their lucky charm.

"Krishna!" Name popped in his mind. He so wanted to meet that person. If it wasn't him, Arnav and his Khushi wouldn't have been enjoying the moments of parenthood once again.

He decided he would talk to Karan and as soon as possible, he would get the adoption papers ready.

***
"Come bhabi!" NK said and pulled chair for Khushi at the breakfast table.

They all looked at Arnav as he was still in his PJ and even he didn't go for a jogging and to the gym.

All they could do was smile. Arnav looked at them. "Good morning everyone."

"Good morning," everyone wished him back.

"And good morning from my side too!" Karan said.

A sudden fear was pumped in Khushi's heart. She didn't know why Karan had come. Even Arnav had no idea even though he knew Karan was talking about a surprise, so neither did the family.

"Karan beta you here? Is everything alright?"

"Good morning Nani ji!" Karan went and touched her feet to get blessings.

"Long live son!"

Then he went and he touched mami ji's and mama ji's feet.

"I actually had a surprise for you guys!"

"A surprise, yes! I was waiting for it, Karan!" Arnav said.

"Mr. Kashyap!" Karan said and Mr. Kashyap came into the house.

"Arnav, before you guys leave today Adwaya will be yours, I have already prepared the papers. Just sign them and he is all yours."

Khushi finally took a sigh of relief. "That's wow!" NK and Dhruv said in unison.

"Yes, it is. I thought I could get all this done in no time, so here you go parents, sign these papers."

Arnav side hugged Khushi and kissed her hair as she had come to him. And they looked at Adwaya that Arnav was carrying.

Wasting no more time they just sat in the chairs in the study and signed the adoption papers in front of the whole family. It was a double celebration time for them.

Tomorrow would be a mothers day and a celebrations of Arnav and Khushi's becoming a parents. Family had already thought of giving Arnav and Khushi a surprise.

"The other thing is the other three toddlers and five to seven kids are given to their parents," Karan said. "Also, the kids parents have sent a thank you to you, Arnav and blessings to you and your family."

"It was everyone's effort, Karan," Arnav said.

"My brothers were there and most importantly Khushi and you and your police force."

"Yes, that's true! But do accept those parents blessings and thanks."

"It's all by god grace and children fate," Mami ji said.

"Yes, that's true, auntie ji," Karan said.

"Anyways, thank you for your time, and now you could leave to your farmhouse without any worries."

"Thank you so much, Karan, it was for sure a big surprise and you seriously ended our worries!"

"You are very welcome. And your security that will escort you to your farm house is here."

"Karan son, why don't you just stay here for a breakfast," Mama ji said.

"Sure," Karan said.

"And Karan, can you find Krishna? I really want to thanks him!"

"Yes sure. I will see if I can find him out."

"That would be great!"

ON HIS DEMAND CHAPTER 48

Hello everyone,
Have a look at the chapter, hope you guys like it...And I promise if I will be proven wrong this last time, this chapter will be the last chapter...I will completely shut down this FF! And I am very serious!

CHAPTER 48

Arnav laid Khushi in the bed and wiped the tears from her eyes. He hated to see them. Every time she spilled one tear he cursed himself. Her smiling face when she had Adwaya in her hands was coming in front of his eyes and then later it was when she first breastfed him. She had a beautiful and precious expression on her face that clearly told him that she felt she was experiencing the motherhood. And then when Adwaya was leaving the look of defeat, pain, anxiety, loss was all on her face. And nothing he could do. Every time he thought that is it, he would keep her happy, but he was wrong and every step he took he only fell.

He leaned closed to her and continued to look at her. Caressed her hair. But what really knifed his heart her tries to keep herself strong in front of him and the family. But inside her there was a war of all sought of emotions and they all knew.

His own eyes were teary. As he looked at the side of the bed it was empty. Although, not completely. There were toys but no Adwaya to play with it. There were his clothes, his diapers, his milk bottle.

But only he wasn't there.

The pain was ineludible. Never ending. The loss was big. It felt as yet again they had just lost the most important part of their lives. Even if he was there with them for a day.

They knew that baby will be gone sooner or later, but still it had become so hard for them. A day before's afternoon brought a sunshine in their lives. And today's night brought a complete darkness.

"Arnav ji, Adwaya is sleeping please don't disturb his sleep," Khushi murmured in her sleep.

Arnav's heart scrunched and he couldn't able to stop himself from breaking down.

But was that even an any option? To just sit and cry? They had to accept the fact Adwaya was gone and once again they had to pick themselves up and be each other support. Also, they weren't alone. They had their family with them.

***
"You guys should leave as soon as possible," Mami ji said. "Khushi, needs it."

"Hmm," Nani murmured. "I agree. Khushi bitiya needs a break."

"Our bag packs are ready!" Payal said.

"We shall be joining you guys soon. We have some work pending. And when we will be done with it. We shall reach there."

"Sounds great, dad!" Akaash said.

"Mama ji, Nani, mami ji, come food is ready," Khushi said as she came out of the kitchen and almost immediately left.

"Bhai, Khushi was working in the kitchen?"

Arnav looked at him, but Payal answered, "She asked me that if she can cook the food. I allowed her."

"But why?"

"She is trying to divert her mind, Akaash."

"Oh okay!"

"But for sure we will be going to try hard and keep her happy as much as possible," Dhruv said.

"I have a plan," NK said.

"Please don't bring your GF here!" Dhruv said.

"No, first at least listen!"

"Okay, tell what?"

"If we are talking about cheering bhabi's mood, when would Gavy and Addy will be of help? We will create an environment of happiness around us. And kids can help us."

"How?" Akaash asked.
***
The following afternoon...

"Chachi," addy said.

"Yes, beta!" Khushi said.

"Chachi, mujhe washroom jane hain!" ( I have to go to the washroom.)

"Sure baby, let's go. Where is Gavy?"

"He is in his room."

"Room? Alone?"

"Yes, he is doing his H.W."

"Okay, baby, go and do pee."

"Chachi, please don't look at me."

Khushi smiled doesn't matter how sad she was. "Okay, I won't..." she said. And turned around.

"Chachi, I am done..."

"Coming baby," she said.

"Chachi, Gavy bro is not helping me in my H.W. can you help me?"

"Sure, let's go. But first of all let's wash our hands."

***
"Chachi," Gavy said and ran to Khushi as she entered the room. "Hey, Gavy. Doing H.W.?"

"Yes, chachi."

Khushi made addy stand on the bed. "Okay, shall we start the H.W.?"

"Yes, chachi."

"Chachi, shall I ask you a question?"

"Go ahead, beta!"

"Why do cows wear bells?"

Khushi started thinking. After a thinking a lot she said, "I don't know."

"Chachi, because their horns don't work," Gavy answered.

Khushi giggled.

"Okay, it's my turn," Addy said.

"Okay, go on and ask."

"Why do bees have sticky hair?"

"I don't know!" she said.

"Because they use honeycombs!"

"Shaitan's! Where do you come up with these funny questions?"

"My English teacher in London."

"Oh! So shall we do the H.W. now?"

Addy climbed at Khushi's back and kissed her cheek. "Chachi, we will play first."

"What if mommy came to know?"

"You say we are done with our H.W." Gavy added.

"Lying is not good."

"Chachi, it's okay!" Gavy said.

"Your chachu is right you guys are really naughty..."

"He would say that!" Addy said.

"Why?"

"Because when I was 4, he was sleeping in a chair and I pricked his nose hair."

Khushi couldn't help, but laugh, "didn't he say anything to you?"

"No, we said we didn't do it, but NK chachu did because he was siting beside him," Gavy said.

"And then chachu made him do push-ups."

"My naughty kids!" she said and hugged both of them. But a sudden heart ache again she felt. As she embraced both of them, she remembered Adwaya. His laugh made her smile, but his cries still echoed in her ears.

"Okay, you sit and do your H.W. Chachi will he right back."

"Okay chachi, come back soon."

Khushi immediately got up and rushed out of the room and rushed to her room.

Arnav and the family were closely seeing her and the kids but as they saw Khushi rushing out of the room every one got scared.

"I see," Arnav said and rushed after her.

Khushi got into the room and closed the door and let out a painful cry. She looked at the toys that she had kept in a bucket. She slowly walked to them.

She took a teddy bear and hugged it and tears just flowed down her eyes without her tries. Arnav was going to open the door but he stopped as he heard her cries that hurt him beyond any explanations.

***
Night fell!

Khushi had her back towards Arnav and Arnav had hugged her from behind. He was trying his best to cheer her mood but Khushi only seemed to be thinking of Adwaya. She even had a space in between of the bed. And had her hand patting the space in between imagining as Adwaya was sleeping there and she had her hand on his chest.

"Khushi, are you listening?"

"Huh...hmm!" she murmured.

But she wasn't he knew. And just like that she dozed off. It hasn't been an hour when he heard her sobs. "No, please don't...don't do anything to him."

"Khushi," he said. She immediately stopped.

He forced her to look at him. She turned. Her eyes were red and swollen.

"What happen?" he asked. Sheer fear was written on her face. "Arnav ji, Adwaya."

"Adwaya, what?"

Khushi didn't answer, but she hugged him.

"Arnav ji, I don't know if he would be fine. I had a bad dream. I don't know why I think, but Adwaya is in trouble."

"Khushi, he is with his parents. And what you saw was a dream..."

"Arnav ji, I want to see him," she said as she cried against his neck. Arnav closed his eyes taking no pain in her voice. And her sobs shook her body.

"Sshh, Khushi, he is fine. I assure you. Do you believe me? It was just your dream. If you want to meet him, we will go to his home town to meet him."

"Is that okay?"

She nodded. He made her head rest on the pillow and wiped her tears. Without any word he kissed her. Deeply, softly, passionately.

At this point he didn't want her to think about anything else, probably that was the best way he could find to divert her mind. Kiss wasn't for sure meant to be intimating but it did get. He was harsh but at the same time soft. He tangled his legs in hers. Her hair was fisted in his hand. She was out of breath, he could tell. However, only one wish he had was when she opened her eyes he could only see himself in it.

Khushi snaked her arms around her neck and deepened the kiss than it already was. Arnav's hand went under her undershirt. She shivered at his cold touch and gasped. His hands cupped her breast, pinched the hard pebbles. Deep moan left from her throat but it was muffled with the kiss.

He continued to assault her. Only for the short time he broke the kiss that was also to free her off her under shirt and her b*a. He again captured her lips, but only for a short time. He kissed her neck and bit it.

Khushi's mind was clearing. Arnav's lips on her skin was the only touch she remembered. Even she didn't know how loud her moans were. Arnav sucked on her soft skin. And today, he didn't want to stop. He missed making love to his lady, he missed making her feel special. He missed telling her not with words but with the art of his lips, his hands that he devour her as a god. He loves her and all her pain were his. Only his.

He sucked on her n*pples.

"Aaah...Arnav..." she moaned and lost in touch she was hardly able to complete her sentences.

He did promise himself it wasn't about saying but time for doing. But he did say to her, "let the love speak, Khushi. Free your mind. But keeping only me in it."

He flattered his one hand on her one breast then cupped it, and moulded it and pinched it. Everything he could possibly do and on the other he feasted on.

He loved the smell of her natural body. Sweet, but toxic to his senses. That made him only crave for and only more. Most importantly, his love was enjoying. And never did he worried about himself but her.

He went up and bit on her earlobes, and his hands were at place that he was the only one eligible to touch. He was proud of that fact.

Khushi thought to close her legs, but she didn't close them. His fingers were magical. His lips on her skin was a sweet torture. Surely too much for her to take. And when he knew she needed release he gave her what she needed.

She moaned and only sang his name. She was surprised how did he really manage to be soft and tender. But brutal in only passionate way that made her breath hitch in her throat until the last release.

Her face was glowing under the moonlight that shone in the room. She arched her back and dug her head further in the pillow and clenched the sheets as pleasures hit her.

***
"Sleep, you need it!" he murmured in her ears. And she closed her eyes. He kissed her forehead and laid beside her.

Knowing that she was sleeping, he too could take a breath of relief.

"Good night, Khushi!"

"Good night," she murmured back and hugged him tightly. He was the only person she always needed to be her side. Even then when he hated her more than he loved her.

Just before sleeping, she opened her eyes and looked at Arnav. Usually, she would be the one to sleep first but this time he was the one. She slightly got up to give a peck on his forehead.

"Thank you for being on my side always, Arnav ji!" she said and once again hugged him tightly.

She remembered addy telling her that how they pulled hair of his nose. A thought of doing that now did come into her mind, but he was sleeping and more than anything he needed it...Just in her tensions he forgets about himself. About his health. She had to take him to the doctor too. To make sure he was doing fine. She was still too scared to look at his chest. And to touch it.

It has been only a month or so but it still it felt it was only a day or two days ago thing. She was afraid now to recall all those times and Arnav's condition and loss of her baby made her heart burnt. She only dug further into Arnav. And when she looked at Arnav she shoved all the thoughts, not away but threw literally out of her mind.

***
In the early morning around 7:00 AM, she hadn't slept for more than 5 hours and there wouldn't have been 6-7 hour gap when she had another dream.

Arnav was up but had left for a jogging. Knowing that Khushi was peacefully sleeping. But until now...

All she could hear was Adwaya's cries. She is looking for him here and there and every place and nook but she couldn't find him. However, she knew the sounds of the cries were of him. On the other hand, she continued to wish it was only her dream.

She was lost, where she heard the cries she went there, but found nothing.

Then she found Adwaya on the floor, dressed in the same blue jean tunic he left the home. He was all alone not assisted by anyone. She could see his face, all red. Due to crying.

Something weird out of proportion happened she saw a bag full of grains was going to fell on him from top.

"No," she screamed. She struggled both in dream and reality. She ran fast and on time she picked Adwaya from the floor.

She was kissing him just the way she was when he was taken from her by his parents.

Now once again the same scene but in a different place was happening. Someone came and literally snatched Adwaya from her hands.

She was left screaming for help and calling Adwaya's name.

She woke up so suddenly from her sleep that her head revolved. Her breathing was laboured. She was sweating. As she found out it was just a dream she was relaxed but more than that scared. She wanted to see Adwaya. His parents said they will be going to Kolkata and Arnav did say he will take her to him.

She had just made her mind that she will ask Arnav to take her to Adwaya, when Arnav was back.

"Arnav ji," she said. "I want to talk to you."

Arnav had a big smile on his face as he looked at her. "Calm down my sweet lady!" he mused and came forward. He held her by her arms and kissed her forehead. "First tell me how are you? And did you sleep properly?"

"Arnav ji, I am fine. But Arnav ji, I have to talk to you about..."

"Khushi, can you please make aloo parantha for me. I really feel like eating it."

"Arnav ji, I will, but please listen to me. Please. Arnav ji, can we go to see Adwaya?"

"Khushi, I think we should really not he thinking about him, anymore! He is with his parents and fine..."

"But I don't know why, but I am feeling the anxiety."

Arnav was angry, but more than that the anger was due to the way she had obsessed herself over Adwaya.

"Khushi, just stop it. This is my last plea to you. Do you get that last plea. Agree with the fact he is gone. And fine with his parents."

Khushi looked at him in his eyes, anger and hurt was both in them.

"Have you seen yourself? Khushi, he can't be yours, neither mine. He can't be ours. He is gone. Forget about him. And stop hurting yourself."

He finished of his sentence more  angrily than he thought of.

Khushi stood only numb. And then she shivered when she heard the door of the washroom closed with anger.

The last thing she knew she had hurt Arnav once again unintentionally.

She was going to go after Arnav when NK came as he stood out of he room. "Nanav bhai you forgot your phone downstairs."

Khushi opened the door and took the phone from NK. He said good morning to her and she thanked god he was in a hurry and soon after giving her the phone left he left. Otherwise, she wouldn't have any answers to the emotions that was written on her face...

Arnav came out of the washroom taking a quick shower and Khushi waited for him.

"Arnav ji, I am sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you."

"Khushi, first you hurt yourself and that hurts me more than anything. More than any pain. First get that fact in your head than we shall talk about it."

"Arnav ji, only once I want to see him."

Arnav gave her one cold glare and left from there.

***
"Khushi, it's my friends birthday. So, me and Akaash were going to get a gift for her. I was wondering if you will go with us."

"No, bhabi. I think you should go. Meanwhile, I look after work here. I have to still pack out bag pack as we will be leaving in a day or two. Even Mary is not here. She has taken a day off."

"It's okay, Khushi, I will help you."

"I think you should go bhabi."

"Okay, as you wish. I just didn't want to leave you home alone. Even mom and Nani has gone to the orphanage home. And rest have gone to the office."

"I will be fine bhabi. And I have bit of a headache."

"What happen? Do you need to see the doctor? No, bhabi. I will be fine."

"Please, don't worry, you go I will be just fine."

"Okay, we will make sure we are home in an hour."

"It's okay, take your time," she reassured.

Payal cupped her face, "Take care, Khushi."

***
Khushi, sat in the lounge area and  her dreams still made her worried. There was no one she could talk about it. Arnav was already so mad at her. He didn't even eat and left to office. She was calling at his cell number but it was putting her though voice mail.

She knew more than being angry, Arnav was worried about her.

But her guts were telling her that Adwaya wasn't safe. If he was she just wanted to meet him so that she could see him.

At one point she did think that she was going to go insane. She shouldn't be attached to Adwaya. And sadly she couldn't accept the fact he was gone.

She went to the AR office with food, but there she found out Arnav wasn't even there. He had gone to the meeting out of town.

She wasn't sure when he will return and when he would eat his food. She was scolded herself for acting like a kid and for hurting him. Here he was trying to make her happy and all she was doing was thinking about the same thing again and again.

***
"Khushi, I am sorry," Arnav said. "I was so busy in the meeting and work. I just couldn't let you know," he added.

"Are you going to sleep this early? My secretary told me you came to office, but she must have told you I was out of town."

"I am so sorry, I was so mad at you, I know I shouldn't have!" he said as he removed his coat and the tie and hung it properly in the cupboard.

"Now come on get up I have a surprise for you!"

Arnav kept on talking, but Khushi responded to not any of his talk.

"I come in a few seconds. Just have to change."

When he returned back, Khushi was still lying down he himself laid beside her. "You still aren't up!?"

Khushi's eyes were closed. "What happened, are you angry at me?" he murmured if in case she was sleeping. But he could tell she wasn't when she opened her eyes.

"No, I wasn't sleeping," she said.

"I am sorry for my morning behaviour.  I know you must be angry with me.  But I was so worried about you the way you were obsessed about Adwaya.

He made her look at him. She didn't look fine to him. "Khushi, are you fine?"

He could tell she was crying. Tears on her cheeks were dried.

Her body felt warm to him, he checked her forehead. She was burning down with fever and shortly after her eyes closed down as she was having hard time keeping it open.

ON HIS DEMAND CH 48 TEASER

"Arnav ji," she said. "I want to talk to you."

Arnav had a big smile on his face as he looked at her. "Calm down my sweet lady!" he mused and came forward. He held her by her arms and kissed her forehead. "First tell me how are you? And did you sleep properly?"

On his demand part 34

"No," Arnav screamed in his mind.

"Please god keep my Khushi and my baby safe!" was the only pray that danced on his lips.
___________________________________
There never had been a need to pray to God. Never! Arnav had been so strong, that he had faith that every worst situation would turn into normal, but today for his life he was praying.

Love had always been the biggest strength, that one could feel secure under the huge protective shell of it, but it's also the weakest of weakness. And this is why, Arnav had always kept himself away from. He loved his parents, life snatched them away from him.

With Khushi there was an instant connection of his soul with hers. A few months ago, it was hard to believe person like Arnav could love, who was too blunt to tolerate. But he had loved. He knew that Khushi would be first and last person he will think of spending his life with.

He got her, but in a worst way.
For whom, he had once promised to himself, that he would give his life for, turned out to be the one whose life he promised he would ruin.

He had jumped into conclusion, he had kept Khushi responsible for Anjali's condition. When she was not at all wrong.

People came in her life played with her as they owned her. They used her as a puppet and hurt her as she had no emotions. And it was a shame for him that he was the one who had done that.

Today, Anjali had called her by names that she didn't deserve at all and even he himself didn't ever thought he would use for her. Even then when he misunderstood her.

However, Anjali need a reality check. She had to know that she didn't do good. She should know that in their dirty game they unnecessarily, dragged her.

He got up furiously as he marched to make his way out of the hospital.

"Chote, what happen!?" Mama ji said at his back.

"Bhai!" Akaash said as he rushed after him.

"Akaash you stay here with Khushi!" he said as Akaash tried to match his pace.

"But bhai where are you going!?" he said breathlessly.

"To make things clear!" he muttered Akaash stopped and disappeared in a distance.

"Akaash what happen!? Payal said as she too came rushing. "Where did Arnav go!?"

"I don't know Payal. I am afraid that today something will happen that we never expected!" he presumed.

Payal stood worried by his side. But even she had some talking to do to her sister who had crossed all the limits.

"Anjali bitiya, I am not saying you are wrong, but if Arnav bitwa is saying that Khushi bitiya isn't wrong than we should believe him. He loves you more than anything, you are his sister!" Nani sat beside as she tried to comfort her.

"No!" she shouted. "He doesn't care for me. He loves that girl who has ruined my life. He has proved me today that to him I don't matter at all!"

"I am afraid you are wrong!" Arnav's voice shrilled in the air. But it wasn't clear to which phrase of Anjali did Arnav answered to.

Anjali and Nani both looked at him. "What happen Arnav!? Why are you here!? Doesn't your so called wife needs you!? Or was it just her drama!?"

"I can't believe that it is you who could think of her as it, Anjali di!" he said bluntly.

"I don't really think that I need to say anything to justify my Khushi! But you have to know that you have hurt that woman who had been a game for me and you!" Arnav added.

Anjali crossed her arms; giving an impression as she didn't care or interested in listening about Khushi.

"Please, chote. What I can't believe is that how much your mind has been corrupted by that bitch!"

"Enough!" he shouted, so loudly that his voice echoed as a furious thunder. And it wasn't hard to guess Anjali indeed needed a reality check.

"ENOUGH OF YOUR ABUSE!" he said each and every word clear enough so that it could get to her ear drums. "If you don't want to know if she was wrong or right, it's perfectly fine with me. But JUST STOP SAYING WHATEVER IS COMING IN YOUR MIND!"

"Arnav bitiya, please don't say anything to her at the moment she isn't fine!" Nani pleaded. "We can settle down and talk!"

"No, Nani!" Arnav said. "Not any more!"

Meanwhile, Dhruv, NK, mami and mama ji paid their visit at the door. One by one they entered the house, sending the terrible tension in the air.

"For him, for her, for this, for that...No!" he growled. "Stop treating her as she is a bell in the temple, that anybody could come and ring. Stop treating her as a doormat," his tone grieve filled.

"Just stop it...And you want to know why I married Khushi!?"

Nani didn't say anything, or gestured but it was understood that she wanted to know what was going on. She was wondered the reason behind the sudden decision of him marrying Khushi.

"Because of her. Just like her, three months ago I had thought Khushi and that bas***d Rahul are cheating Anjali di. I was convinced that Khushi was a part of it. Her own bhua ji made me believe that Khushi knew Rahul was married. She kept me as well as her in dark."

"Oh really you just said her bhua ji knew the whole truth of his than why did she agree to marrying her niece with him!" Anjali questioned.

"Yes, "Yes, she did it for money. She needed money for her brother's treatment. She wasn't at mistake either. She didn't know Rahul's reality, she didn't he only wanted Khushi. He had convinced Khushi's bhua ji that Anjali was wrong!"

"Do you get that he said you were wrong!" Arnav said to Anjali. "He proved her that you ditched him. He also made a story that you killed your own child."

"What!?" Nani said.

"Yes, Nani! You want to know how Khushi's dad died! It was Rahul who killed him because he had come to know that he had been cheating on his daughter as well as Anjali di."

"Di, you say I love her no I am her biggest enemy. I married to make her life hell, I wanted to take revenge for what she did to you!"

Anjali's arm loosely uncrossed and let them fall on her side as she looked at him in shock.

"Di in our battles people like Khushi's brother need not to be included. But he was. Today, he had been fighting for his every breath," he said as he was devastated from inside.

Family stood frozen as they fixed their gazes at Arnav, their minds not ready to accept how cheap that Rahul could stoop. They all were aware that Rahul cheated Anjali, but they didn't know Khushi was in it, they didn't know anything what Arnav told them just few seconds ago. So, far they only believed what Arnav had been telling him that, "he loved her and got married!" But the truth was completely opposite.

"I am repeating that Khushi hasn't done anything. I punished her for the deed that she never did...I forced her into the marriage...I abused her..." he said as he finally fell down on his knees.

Anjali stood frozen in front of him. Nani was in no state of peace.

"I abused her!" he repeated.

And Anjali believed so far, that his own chote deceived her. But again here the truth was otherwise.

She fell on the sofa.

"For last more than two months, we were fooled. So much happened with Khushi bitiya and we didn't know. That girl never once complained," Nani was saying more to herself than to Arnav or Anjali.

"I said what I shouldn't have!" Anjali finally said. She wasn't sorry, but regretting as Arnav had supposed.

"You both brother and sister took worst decisions," Nani said. Weighing down what Arnav had told today.

"I didn't know my kids thought they could take decision for others!" she said.

"You both were so blind that you didn't ever thought once about your actions!" Nani added slowly.

"Anjali bitiya I didn't teach you the words that you used for her," Nani said getting little angry now saying without feeling any regret she could be wrong.

"And you chote, did your ego ended at abusing her!?" she then turned to Arnav.

"I am surprised how Khushi bitiya is still living with you!" Nani said. "I am shocked that despite of your abuse and forcing she is still living with you. For whatever reason it had been chote, you don't deserve her!" Nani concluded.

Arnav looked at her in regret filled eyes.

"And Anjali bitiya don't forget that you were cheated, and so did Khushi bitiya...I am not sure if you are really sorry after knowing the truth!"

"I am sorry," Anjali muttered between her sobs.

"Would your words said to her will be taken back!?" she asked. "You do mistakes without listening to others and say sorry that's it!?"

"You both are my kids, but you didn't do good."

"In the end you guys only thought of yourself. Your pain, your rights, your beliefs."

The truth was even the other family were cursing the person who had ruined Anjali's life, not only anyone else.
________________________________
"Payal we have to call, Arnav bhai. Khushi needs him," Akaash said.

"Yes," Payal agreed and Akaash picked up the phone.
__________________________
Arnav wiped his tears as he took out his ringing phone from his pocket.

Screen flashed Akaash's number. "Hello, bhai can you please come to hospital immediately."

"Akaash what happen!? Is Khushi fine!?" he asked as his heart thumped loudly.

"Bhai, doctor Sharma said she isn't doing good. Please come soon!"

Arnav immediately rose on his feet and rushed to the hospital, but didn't disconnect the phone itself, as he collected the information from Akaash about Khushi's health.

"Nani, I am so sorry. I should have thought before cursing Khushi."

"No, Anjali bitiya. Your curse can't get to Khushi bitiya and her baby. She had done nothing that god will listen to your prays," she said in bluntness. "She had gone through enough. Chote had gone through a lot as he fought for you. But put his love at stake! But not anymore!"

Not by mere chance, Anjali felt Nani said anything wrong. She agreed to each and every word she spoke.

"I want to apologize," she muttered, wishing by any mere chance she could take the words she said back. "I want to apologize for the words I said as I made hasty generalizations. I hope that Khushi and her baby is fine," she said in utter guilt, sadness.

"No, please...Arnav ji!" Khushi screamed. "Please stop them they are taking our baby!" she tried to make her point as she restlessly fidgeted in the hospital bed going through another hallucination.

The fear had set in her mind that someone will take her baby from her and her husband too.

As she could see few unfamiliar daunting faces, beating up Arnav, who tried to rescue their baby.

She tried kicking people who tried to held her, but practically she was trying to fight in her dream.

Her actions immediately created havoc in Arnav's mind that he came rushing into the ward, rest of the family tried to stay back. Letting Arnav handle her on it's own and lessening the possibility that they might startle her.

"Khushi!" Arnav fell on the bed beside her. "Khushi!" he murmured softly, capturing all his worries, fears, tears.

"Arnav ji..." she was calling out again and again but his voice her ear at no point. Arnav felt extremely helpless, seeing her in this condition. Where she hung in between the dream, that she couldn't just open her eyes and acquaint herself of the reality that no one would harm in his vicinity.

In her dream, she fought back with the men that strongly held her. She managed to take person's hand and took into her mouth as she bite it with all her force, and in reality she had Arnav's side palm as she managed to held correlating the real and dream.

Arnav didn't dare to wince or react in a way that would startled her more than already was. He clenched his teeth tightly trying to absorb the pain Khushi's biting caused.

"Khushi nothing has happened to you. Open to your eyes!" he begged his voice composed, but it didn't seem to be helpful. He pined her arms to her either side and slammed his lips with hers. If by any chance, she could recognize his familiar touch of affection.

Khushi was obviously resisted from saying as his mouth left no room for her to her mouth, her arms strongly held on her sides, unmovable.

He was afraid he would only increase her fears, but he couldn't think of anything to force her to open her eyes.

As Arnav kissed grew softer rather than getting brutal, Khushi seemed to revitalize her senses. She could feel the familiar touch of Arnav. That she was too used to be recalled, even if, her central nervous system completely shut.

"Arnav ji!" he felt her lips forming against his in no fear, but with serenity.

Arnav felt the seeping gush of relief to his taut nerves. He merely moved an inch up, muttering soothing phrases, "Yes, Khushi I am here with you!" he whispered but her eyes remained closed.

His warm breath making close proximity with her skin, giving her the sense of security of him being close to her.

Arnav further didn't move an inch, remained stilled as Khushi seemed to be relaxed, but once again he could feel tense in Khushi's body, her fears kicking back in her vulnerable mind. She couldn't have feared this much in her life than for Arnav and her baby itself.

She couldn't have imagine a day without both of them in her life, since, they both had appeared in her life.

Words that Anjali had said-"Are you happy now, by creating problems between brother and sister...To me you were a wh**e and will always."

She clenched his t-shirt tightly in her hands as she again started fighting back, she was forcing herself to open her eyes, but it felt as they were glued and then all of sudden her eyes opened wide as she tried to take a sharp breath of air, hard enough to fill her own lungs and the baby's need of oxygen inside her.

It tickled Arnav's fear to death. He felt as someone has punched his stomach. Khushi had suffered yet from other panic attack. Dr. Sharma was called in immediately and she too had concluded that it certainly was a panic attack.

"Mr. Raizada, I strongly recommend you to either take her away somewhere she could have a peaceful air to breath or remove the fear that had taken backseat in her mind."

Only one thing had came into his mind and he said, "I think I know what to do!"

Arnav had settled beside Khushi who seemed to relax in her sleep. He had strictly ordered no one enter her ward without his permission as he himself didn't bother to stay away from her even for a second.

He had let her sleep making no sound that would cause her distress. And to Arnav's relief Khushi had slept for good 8 hours.

As in the middle of night she woke up, the room was dimly lit, it wasn't completely dark, that could panic her or too bright that would disturb her, plus Arnav himself was with her.

She put her hand on top of Arnav's that rested on her tummy and pressed it. As she slowly, started recalling, whatever happened during the past few hours.

"Arnav ji," she said. Fear of her baby, if he or she was fine made, her heart thud loudly. She remembered Anjali's curse just before her head had collapsed.

"Yes, Khushi!" Arnav said, quickly getting up as he previously laid his head lying on his bicep close to her.

"How is our baby!? Please tell me how is our baby!?" she asked. This time her voice was shaky.

"Khushi you and our baby are fine!"

Arnav saw her head fell back on the pillow as worry on her face seemed to vanished coupling with the relief. She squeezed his hand.

Arnav couldn't have held one more good news...As Khushi slowly opened her eyes she could see a handsome smile on his face. She couldn't help wondering what was the reason behind it. And not denying the fact it was truly unexpected.
