In Arnav Khushi's room.
Khushi opened the door of her room that was in complete silent. Not at all same as it used to be in Arnav's presence.

Although, not a thing had changed in particular. Not a single thing had been moved. The same bed, same furnishing, same balcony where Arnav and she herself had spent endless times talking in each other's arms.

However, at the same time nothing was same.

Her chest tightened in a tight ball of emotions that lacerated her soul.

As much she hated being in this room without Arnav's presence, she loved it as it was the only place in the whole world where she had spent most of the time with Arnav.

She hated it for the reason as in the past 6 months Arnav hadn't stepped into it.

Room was dark, not a single day of light seeped through it from the outside world. Every night Khushi would come after a long tiring day and slip on the bed imagining Arnav to be on her side, least she could do.

Most of the time she felt her mind, nothing was on her side. Her heart, and her soul was scattered everywhere. First it was her father whom she lost. Then her brother, Aryan she almost lost. As she had learnt to accept that dark side of the life now her husband, Arnav. Destiny was playing cruel. And the scars were only damaging their souls.

She was a living dead.

However, she came to room only to make herself believe that she was close to Arnav. She only maintained the room in a hope that Arnav finally one day walk into this room.

The room so special to her that reminded of Arnav, his laughs, his smiles, his mischievousness. And picture him everywhere.

Office, her family, her baby, and spending time talking to Arnav in the hospital was enough to divert her mind.

But the void created in her heart, when she was alone in the room, she would go through the worst pain, the worst dream she could imagine.

With no Arnav on her side on the bed but only in her mind and the memories, did not leave any chance to make her believe that she was loner.

Sometimes she felt her Devi Maiyan wasn't happy seeing them happy but the other moment Devi Maiyan, made her feel about her presence in her life when she needed her the most.

If something that Khushi had learnt in the past 6 month was to keep herself strong, and prepare for the worst as long as it was written in her fate.

Khushi remembered Guru ji saying, "Bitiya, right now your ship might be rowing in a bad, stormy weather but it would never be the same."

That was a huge advice from Guru ji. And yes, he was right. The very next day, doctors had declared Arnav to be out of danger. It was the best day of Khushi's life.

Khushi, was skeptical that worst yet to come. But guru ji, told "it was only going to be good."

"Bitiya, what you are facing now will help you in a long run. Be strong and believe in God. Whatever he is doing is for your good."

This he had told Khushi, moment when Khushi was angry after Arnav's accident.

Khushi's train of thoughts broke when Nani called her from behind. She had Adhwaya in her arms.

"Khushi, bitiya, when did you come?"

"Nani ji!" Khushi said and didn't forget to add her smile and before facing her, to wipe her tears.

"Oh Shona," Khushi said carrying Adhwaya in his hands. "Nani ji, he didn't sleep."

"No, bitiya, he was waiting for you."

"Did he drink milk?"

"Yes, but in the afternoon. After that he didn't. I guess he is hungry now that's why he is not able to sleep."

"Okay, I see if he drinks it now!"

"Bitiya, did you talk to Arnav?" Nani tried not to give the hint of pain in her tone.

"Nani ji, doctors are waiting for Arnav ji to open his eyes."

"Is that so?"

"Yes, Nani ji. You see our Arnav ji, your grandson, and our Adhwaya's father will soon be up from his sleep."

"Khushi, bitiya, I am just waiting for this."

"Yes, Nani ji, you just don't worry."

Khushi could tell from Nani's tone that she was really happy and half already fine after hearing about Arnav's.

Nowadays, every little hope was a ray of life to them.

"Bitiya, I will keep a big veneration at home the day my grandson will be back home."

"Yes, Nani ji! Also, Karva chauth is coming, in few days. I am sure by then Arnav ji, will be perfect."

"Oh, bitiya, you have already kept so many fasts for Arnav bitwa. And this is the only result of your believes. I hope your every wish comes true."

"Yes, Nani ji! Arnav ji, will be perfectly fine!"

"He will!" Nani ji said getting extremely happy. "Good night, bitiya!"

"Hey Devi Maiyan, bring happiness in our lives, make my grandson perfectly fine. Before I die!"

Khushi was afraid for some reason. Although, she never once had a good dream since Arnav's accident and even before that. But she wished whatever she saw in her bad dreams never to be true.

She took Adhwaya inside her dark room, but she immediately turned on the lights knowing that their son was scared to darkness.

She laid Adhwaya on the bed.

"Mumma!" he said.
"Da...dadda!" he said looking at Aranv's picture of holding him.

"Yes, baby, your dadda will soon be here in front of you. I know he is very eager to meet you!"

"Dad...da!" he muttered.

Telling everyone that Arnav will soon be fine, Khushi herself has started believing it.

"Shona, pray to god that he gets your dadda fine!"

"Pray!" Adhwaya muttered. It was the very first time Khushi was finally successful in getting him to say this.

A strong positive hope roused in her mind and heart and she couldn't help but smile. Something that she hadn't done in ages.

***
The following morning.

"Hello, Mr. Raizada, please come soon to the hospital!" Doctor said.

"What...what happened?" Mama ji said as his heart thumped against his chest as doctor asked them to come to the hospital.

Nani, mami ji, Payal's heart thumped louder against their chest. Nani had already started crying.

"Mr. Raizada, there is a very good news. Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada, is out of coma!"

"What?" Mama ji almost yelled in happiness and he fell on the sofa.

"What happened?" Mami ji asked as she ran to mama ji.

"Mr. Raizada, are you there?"

"Yes, I...I...am...here! We are coming!" he finished his sentence and hung up the phone.

"Suniye, please tell what happened?" Mami ji asked. "Is Arnav bitwa fine?"

"Manorama, our son is perfectly fine, he is out of coma!" Mama ji finally said in happiness as he got out of the shocked state.

"Oh, Devi Maiyan!" Nani said and cried. "Thank you, Devi Maiyan! Thank you!"

Payal couldn't help, but run to call Akaash.

NK and Dhruv's had just entered the RM discussing about work as they heard loud cries they came running in fear.

"Ma, what's wrong?" NK asked.

Their heart jumped to their throat.

"NK, beta, Dhruv beta, god has listened to our prayers, your brother is out of coma!" Mama ji said.

Dhruv hooted. NK immediately held him by his shoulder as he fell on his knees, as they both looked at each other and smiled through their tears.

Nothing in this world was as precious for them as this moment was for them.

"Dhruv!" NK said but he couldn't say anything more than that as well. Both brothers hugged each other tightly as first time they both cried as they had no fears of hurting each other's with their tears, because they were the tears of happiness.

"Bas, mere bacho!" Mami ji cried. (Enough, my sons.)

"We get cars ready!" Dhruv said.

***
"Hello, Akaash!" Payal cried.
"Payal, what's wrong?" Akaash almost yelled in fear as he got up his chair and his chair scrapped back.

"Arnav..." she said.

"Yes, bhai what?"

Khushi heard Akaash say and she too got up the chair in fear. Her legs started trembling. Her heart all ready to jump out of her body.

She looked at Akaash with questioning look.

"Payal, please stop crying and tell what's wrong? We are getting..."

"Akaash, our Arnav is out of coma!" Payal cried.

"Oh...my...lord!" Akaash said as his body muscles trembled.

There was a havoc of happiness created all of sudden.

"What happened, bhaiya?" Khushi asked as she literally shouted. "Why aren't you saying anything?"

"Payal, we are coming to the hospital," Akaash said and he hung up the phone.

"Khushi, bhai," he also stopped their as he was so happy that he couldn't say anything beyond that. "Khushi," he took a deep breath.

Everyone sitting in the meeting were confused and afraid.

Khushi was going to faint if Akaash hadn't said beyond her name. "Khushi, let's go to the hospital. Arnav bhai is out of coma!" he finally disclosed.

He almost held fainting Khushi. "Khushi, you okay!"

"I want to go to see, Arnav ji!"

"Yes, Khushi. Sorry gentlemen we have to stop this meeting here. We know how much this meeting is for our companies but more than that my brother is."

"Akaash bhai take Khushi mam, I am here to explain them!" Aman said.

Khushi and Akaash both rushed out of the meeting room. The whole office looked at them as they literally ran. Some were confused others were worried. Well wishers wished everything was fine as they knew their boss wasn't well.

And they all waited for Aman to come out of the conference room to disclose the news.

***
"Mr. Aman Malhotra, this is the best news. Don't you worry we will wait because we just can't wait to merge our business with such a big company but more than that meet with the king of the business world, Arnav Singh Raizada, himself. We wish, Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada himself to come and finalize this deal," Mr. Chang said.

"Mr. Chang, thousand blessings to you," Aman said. "I hope your this wish comes true. Now you please excuse me. I have to tell this news to our office staff. They are eagerly waiting for to know about Arnav sir for the past 6 months!" he said in a hurry and hurried out of the conference room to tell the whole office this news.

"Aman, what happened tell man everything is fine?" Rohan, the supervisor of the AR Group asked the moment he saw Aman.

"Guys, there is a very good news, Arnav sir is finally out of coma!"

A loud cheers prevailed every where in the office.

"Guys, we all will soon be going to the hospital to see Arnav sir!"

"Why not?" Rohan said. "This is the best news!"

"Yes!" Every worker of the RM said one after the other.

***
"Payal bhabi, how is Arnav ji? Where is he?" Khushi asked huffing.

"Khushi, doctors are looking after him."

"You said he is out of coma."

"Yes, Khushi, he is. But they are checking that everything is fine. Khushi, congratulations our Arnav is out of coma!"

Khushi hugged Payal and let out a loud cry. Payal rubbed Khushi's back.

Mami ji immediately went to give support to Khushi that she needed.

"Don't cry...Khushi bitiya!" she said as she caressed her hair. "We have cried enough. But not anymore. Our son is perfectly fine."

"Khushi, there is one more thing!" Payal said.

Family didn't know how to say her this, but they had to. As there was no need to hide it from her.

Khushi broke the hug and asked, "What thing?" she asked as her heart sunk badly in the sea of fear.

"Khushi, he has lost one year of memory!"

Words were echoing in Khushi's mind like thousand people screaming close to her ears.

"No," Khushi cried.

"Khushi, doctors are saying its temporary."

Khushi didn't hear that part and collapsed. Akaash nearly held Khushi before she could fall on the floor.

"Khushi!" everyone cried. And it was expected and they new she wouldn't have taken the truth.

"Dhruv, NK, run and see if there is any doctor who could see Khushi right now," Akaash yelled.

Both Dhruv and NK ran to see the doctor.

"Khushi, open your eyes!" Payal begged.

"Payal, hold her in her seat. I bring water."

"Akaash, here is the water!" Mami ji said.

Payal rubbed Khushi's hands and feet simultaneously.

Akaash sprinkled water on Khushi's face but no response.

"She is in shock!" Akaash said.

"Bhai, here is the doctor!" Dhruv and NK said.

"Please bring her to the general ward!" Doctor said. Akaash picked Khushi in his arms and ran after the doctor.

"I don't know what is happening?" Nani cried.

"Ma, everything will be fine!" Mami ji said.

"Yes, but Khushi bitiya. Arnav bitwa won't remember her or his son?" Nani said.

"God has listen us, ma. He will definitely make everything fall in it's place and Arnav bitwa will remember about his wife as well as son too," Mama ji said as they waited for doctors to come and tell them how was Arnav doing. As they were dying to talk to their son.

"Please tell Anjali bitiya too to come back from Vaishno Devi. Tell her to that her brother is perfectly fine."

"Yes, ma, I have already told us. After the puja she will be back."

***
"How did this happen?" Khushi wailed helplessly.

"Khushi, please stop crying."

"No," Khushi shouted. "How can I not cry?" she said. "He won't remember me and his son."

"Khushi, listen to us!" Akaash said in an anticipation to calm Khushi.

"Doctors are saying if everything goes fine he will slowly remember everything. Khushi, we just have to be patience."

Khushi got out of the bed and ran out of the room.

"Khushi," Akaash, Payal yelled.

Dhruv and NK ran after Khushi. Dhruv was able to catch her.

"Bhabi, where are you going?" Dhruv asked.

"Dhruv, please let me. I need to go!"

"Bhabi, okay, wherever you are going me and NK will go with you!" he said.

Khushi agreed.
