On his demand Ch 37

PART 37

"Stay there no matter what. Not for a moment leave Khushi alone."

"Yes," Akaash said. "Please take care of Arnav bhai. I know there is a havoc inside him that he is dealing with at the moment. Please take care of him."

"Yes, Akaash you don't worry. Now everything will be alright, and end of that bast**d."

Karan put the phone down and have back to Arnav.

"Arnav I know you are angry, but please again I am saying we have to assure that we don't put Anjali's life in danger," Karan said in his calm voice as he tried talking to Arnav, who hadn't mutter a word so far. It was easier for him to tell him, although he was right, they can't put Anjali's life in danger. Arnav agreed to it, as a slight node of his head as an answer.

He was that unfortunate father who had lost his first child, the only ray of light in his and his khushi's world, but that too was taken from them returning them back to the dark world's. Nothing was as ugliest truth as that.

But ugliest of all was, it was Khushi who was being crushed, his one mistake had ruined her life. Yes, he was still guilty, first because the situations like this never failed him to feel nothing, but guilty. Secondly, he should be guitly, he thought. He made promises, but he couldn't fulfilled them. Just few hours ago, he had told Khushi that he will never fail her, but he did and in a very brutal way.

Sad for Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada that he wasn't able to save his lady from another pain. He was sorry for being not able to do anything to keep his lady happy.

The day she had come in his life the only thing he had ever given her was the pain and only pain. He made big promises and never able to stood successful in them. What kind off person he was, he thought. He claimed he loved her, but in what ways?

It wasn't ASR thinking, but guilt speaking for him. That made him feel like his life was full of regrets and he was the weakest person in the world.

Life couldn't be this cruel to anyone, would it be?

Anjali was at the gun point and the very person kept her at that point was her own evil husband. But Anjali didn't care. She was ready to die and now what was there to live, anyways?

She became the reason for the death of her own child, than havoc in Arnav Khushi's life and now the loss of their child. If she wasn't ever existed it never had happened in first place.

If she was as pretty as Khushi, her husband hasn't fallen in love with her brother's wife. But was it really the truth? No, it wasn't. Rahul, was among those person in the world, who had no idea what does love mean. The only thing they ever learnt is to hate, a very strong emotion that destroy lives.

The another truth. He never ever loved khushi, could be written in bold letters in the history of ON HIS DEMAND. He wanted and still want Khushi for one and only one soul reason, only to fulfill one mere wish of his. To destroy Arnav Singh Raizada, in every possible way. By snatching whatever he have had in his life.

He knew Arnav was in love with Khushi and another pawn in his game, he got Khushi and he had every reason to play with her, her emotions, her family. Indirectly, Arnav. That was where the story had fallen in it's place at the very first place. That was where the games had started.

And by hurting Anjali only meant hurting Arnav further, that in turn Arnav hurting Khushi, of course. Rahul was aware of the weakness of Arnav and he used them against him. He pressed his that aching nerve that he knew will destroy everything in it's way.

The irony in his thoughts and his acts, today, that same aching nerve was going to hurt in a way he had never thought. Karma is a bitch, they say. (Not beeping the letters, because it is the truth.)

Every evil when dare to do the crime, first, he had no intentions to think whether his actions are right or wrong. Secondly, he thinks that he will not be caught!
For a mere moments, they might forget the consequences. But the truth is there is an end to every evil.

Before dying, bird flutter it's wings in pain, and an evil thinks he is the master. But again mentioning, Karma is a bitch.

***
"If you have guts, shoot me!" Anjali said.
Rahul looked at her for a moment like he was really surprised. Then he dropped his head back and laughed.

"Look who is saying that!?" he mocked. "Are you challenging me!? The person who didn't even thought of killing his own child!? Are you challenging him!?"

"I will not be surprised when you yourself will be begging for your own life and than no god, no law, no supreme power would ever be able to save you."

Rahul smirked at her.
"Uh-huh, I like your guts. Looks like you are happy to leave everything of yours behind. Didn't I say you will..."

"If you will kill me, I am sure whatever you are deciding to take will ever be yours!"

"Hmm! Well enough of your nonsense! Any last wish before I give you the freedom!?"

"Promise you would fulfill it," she said.

"Ask for it!" he said.

"Your death that's my last wish," she said looking straight in the eyes. His smile vanished, but appeared almost immediately.

"A real man!?" she mocked him.

"Shut up and get ready to die!?"

"It's okay, if you aren't ready. Just look around you. You will get to know everything," she said.

Rahul spun and looked around. "Look carefully, you have few hours in your account."

Rahul didn't know whether he was insane or something had gotten in Anjali that she was reacting strangely.

"Boss we are surrounded by the police," Rahul heard his goon shouting.

Anjali smiled triumphantly. "Didn't I warn you, your end has come. You are getting for deceiving me, killing my baby, then..."

"Shut up," Rahul screamed and spun her around as he held her by her arm and pointed the gun at her temples.

"Rahul, you are surrounded from all sides, come out otherwise, we will be forced to come in."

Rahul laughed. "Come on my dear wife, you will be one women who will give her life for her culprit husband."

"And I will get what I want!"

Anjali was strong enough to laugh at that. "You won't be able to hurt anyone, but yourself. You can kill me. But you will get nothing."

Not by a mere hopelessness, she was scared. Instead, she was daring him.

She was sorry that he was just a mouse, under the fake costume of tiger, he was wearing to intimidate weak people.

"You bitch if I died today, I promise I will get you killed too!"

"I am not afraid," Anjali replied, enthusiastically.

As soon as, Rahul came out of the godown with Anjali, gun pointed at her temples. There was a loud explosion in the godown.

Every goon in it died. Now, it was only Rahul whom the police and Arnav had to deal with.

Rahul looked behind, the burning ashes of the illegal substance was burnt right in front of him. The flames rising high up in the air.

"Who did that!?" Rahul asked.

"What happen Rahul!?" Anjali asked.

Karan's police car came to an abrupt stop, with the loud screech of the tyres against the stony path. And the door opened.

It was Arnav, his body wolf like form. His every muscle tight against his clothes revealing his gym body.

Rahul swallowed the lump inside his throat. The beads of sweat had formed on his forehead.

"Arnav," Karan said as he came after him and Arnav stopped.

"Arnav he has a gun in his hand, he will shoot Anjali!" Karan warned. "Be careful and go..."

Arnav resumed his walk...One of the police officer came forward from behind. Carefully, so that Rahul doesn't know about it.

"Look Arnav don't dare to come forward, I will shoot her!" Rahul said muffling his coward voice under the stern tone.

"No, chote don't listen him," Anjali shouted.

Rahul dug the gun point against her temple, his finger ready to pull the trigger.

Anjali squeezed her eyes shut...Fear all of sudden filled her mind.

"I am not kidding, Arnav," Rahul said as he saw Arnav only few steps away, he pulled the trigger and it fired.

Everything froze. Only thing Rahul could see was Arnav walking towards him. Anjali fell on her knees, the gun shot up in the air, as the police officer from behind had smartly done his job.

Officer took his gun and the other constable came running and took the gun. Other officers were also going to come, when Karan lifted his hand up to stop them. Rahul was Arnav's prey.

The officer that held Rahul stepped back too. Anjali was taken safe and sound by the lady officer.

"Anjali you okay!? I hope he did nothing wrong to you!" Karan asked. Anjali found herself trembling. She nodded.

"Take her to the hospital for her check up!" Karan instructed the lady officer.

"No, I can't go. I have to be here. Chote, needs me!" Anjali said.

"Anjali it's dangerous for you to stay here. Just go!" Karan said as he kept his hand on her shoulder.

"I am here with Arnav, don't worry!" Karan reassured.

"Look, Arnav I am saying stay away from me!" Rahul said as he stepped back.

His face only reminded Arnav of his dead child; Khushi's helpless form, covered in blood on the floor in the hospital. Then Anjali's way back months ago. Everything was playing in his mind as a movie. His lies that Khushi loved him.

Every scene clear. Every mess the cheap man created in his life and his Khushi's and their families.

Arnav in one go held him by his throat. Kicked his groin.

"Hit me," Arnav growled as he pushed him back and he fell on the ground.

Rahul laughed. He stood as nothing has happened.

"Hmm, why did you have gotten all these spoons with you Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada!?" he asked.

"Were you that scared to face me!?" he asked and laughed.

It only made Arnav more and more aggressive.

"Before even trying to hit me once more look around yourself, Mr. Raizada," Rahul said. Out of nowhere, his men had come and it was now his men had pointed the gun at the policemen backs as they surrendered themselves, even Anjali and Karan.

"Put your guns down!" Rahul shouted. And everyone did so.

"If you are smart, I am even more smarter than you. Not just like that I had fooled your sister and an intelligent person like you!"

"Look more are coming," Rahul said as the whole family was brought up by his men.

Mama, mami, Nani, NK, Dhruv, Akaash, Payal. Even Lavanya. But she wasn't scared. She knew she would be the only one who will stay alive, if every one else died. At the moment, she didn't even care if Arnav stayed alive or not.

Arnav looked at all of them in astray.

"I spared Khushi," he said. "Poor her had already lost her child. And is in deep sleep. My Khushi needs rest you know!"

"When she will get up and will realize that her lover has gun downed every family and her so called husband, the poor Arnav Singh Raizada, she will have no one to go to, but me."

"Aaaeee!" Arnav shouted and was going to hit him in his ribs when Rahul prevented his blow by his hand. And kicked Arnav in his stomach.

"Chote," Nani screamed.

"Calm down Nani ji, calm down! This is nothing. You just see, I will break every piece of his body!"

"But before that you, Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada, just see that I will kill each and every person of your family. And not to mention that little kids. Who are out there in police protection!"

"Must say you were quite smart huh!?" he said and fisted Arnav's mouth. Blood drops, splashed in every direction.

"Arnav bhai!" three brothers screamed. They wanted to break free and tear that bas***d into pieces.

"Hey no smartness. Otherwise, you will become the cause of your families death!" goon said.

Nani and Mami cried.

Karan stood shocked as he had no idea how come their foolproof plan failed terribly.

"Didn't I tell you do whatever, but I will always be a step ahead of you. Wasn't I always, anyways, Mr. Raizada!?" he asked.

Arnav's anger was uncontainable. But be was chained. He couldn't do anything. He had his whole family at stake. He was helpless, the thought itself made him shudder.

"Now you see I will get what I need. Especially, Khushi."

Arnav promised every time he would mention Khushi's name worst his own condition will be. And this time he was determined.

"Don't worry, I won't kill you, until...I...make love to my Khushi. Right in front of you..." he said in his ear.

Arnav's teeth clenched and he hit his mouth. One of his goon shoot one of the police officer.

Arnav looked at the police officer's dead body fell on the floor. The family member's eyes widened in pure fear.

Rahul wiped the blood from his mouth. "This one was the police officer. Next time it would be you family member!" he growled. And he punched Arnav in his stomach.

"Just like one of my man had punched khushi, enough hard to kill your child!" Rahul said and laughed.

Tears from Arnav's eyes clogged his vision. Then another punch landed on his rib.

The Raizada men stood helpless, struggled go break free.

"What happen Akaash, Dhruv, NK!?" Rahul asked as he looked at them.

"Is it not fun to see your brother beaten up!?" he asked and held Arnav by his neck and hit his forehead against his knees.

"Bast**d I promise the same man will kill you a dog death!" Akaash yelled.

"Oh really!?" he asked and made Arnav stand and hit his forehead with his knuckles.

"Like this!" he further asked and punched Arnav's ribs. The sound of rib bone breaking echoed, beside Arnav's growls as Rahul hit him. Each blow harder and painful to bear.

"You Raizada's are stupid, and good for nothing. Save your brother come!" he challenged.

"Give us the chance you dog!" Dhruv yelled.

"I am not that stupid, Mr. Dhruv Raizada!"

"He can't do anything. Just like he couldn't do anything when I killed my own child."

"He couldn't do anything when I got into your house and tried to kill him right under your nose!"

"To get my Khushi I can do anything," he said just to make Arnav break even more.

"Even if it meant killing her father," Rahul confessed.

Slowly and slowly confessing every evil doing of his.

"And don't even expect this man will save you from me. The person who couldn't save his own child, would do what!?"

"Nothing, he is a lamb! That I will slaughter ! His and your sacrifice will help me get everything I need."

"Everything," he said and laughed. "Ah, I am loving this game!" he said.

He then held Arnav by his hair and punched him in his stomach. With every punch, the screams and the cries of the family became louder and louder.

That was a moment of triumph for him. And Arnav's helplessness was like a drink to quench his thirst.

Arnav muffled his scream. His eyes were blood shot.

A punch in his nose. The breakage of his nose cartilage echoed so clearly like it was increased 1000 folds, in the silent air.

Another punch in his rib, then another one, then another one. The sound of every bone breaking was as clear as the glass breaking against the marble floor.

"You have lot to pay," Rahul yelled. His voice hardly coming out of his mouth as he hit Arnav.

Pain was unbearable.
Then another kick landed onto his knees, the bone cracked and Arnav lost his balance. His knee hit the ground and he growled in pain.

As he spoke, second knee was broken.

He held his other arm, and he tossed him on the floor as a woman washing clothes against the stone.

Rahul wasn't satisfied at all.

He kicked his stomach again. Then his already broken ribs.

And then Arnav's body fell on the floor.
His whole body covered in blood.

"Chote!" Anjali screamed.

Cries echoed in the air. His body totally broken as a smashed glass.

Lifeless!
